𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 Jasmine felt the morning after the Oscar's was the incessant buzzing of her phone.

She groaned, skimning the sheets in search of the device. Once she found it and turned it on, the sight of hundreds of notifications made her sit up.

“Oh my god..” She muttered, unlocking her screen.

Immediately, she was met with more notifications from any andg all social media platforms she had, Mostly from Twitter. She clicked on the app and the first thing she sees is gifs, screenshots, and other memes of her slip-up from last night.

Jasmine puts her head in her hands, trying to escape from the clusterfuck that is her life right now.

Her door bursts open, and Alexis comes running inside.

“Jasmine have you SEEN this??”

“Of course I've seen it! I'm everywhere!”

“I thought last night was bad, but now youre, like, FAMOUS”

Jasmine scoffs, “I am a Tony award nominted actress, I was already kinda famous”

“Well now you're super mega famous!”

She laughs in disbelief and turns her screen to face Jasmine. It shows a clip of the incident sitting at 10.2 million views.

“I think I'm gonna be sick.”

Alexis did have a point. Although Jasmine was a Tony nominated actress and had received much acclaim in the Musical Theatre industry, she wasn't that well known otherwise. But this... 10.2 MILLION views?? This was a kind of attention that Jasmine had never garnered before.

“I don't even understand why this is happening. I just called him hot!”

“You know how the internet is. The most random things can go viral. And babe, you did not just call him hot. You were just short of calling him delicious.”

“Well can you blame me?? Did you SEE him last night??”

“This doesn't help your case, babe.”

Jasmine fell back into her bed with a groan.
