It was the first day of summer and I was bored out of my mind. "Why don't you go out and meet some people?" Said my Aunty. "But I don't know anyone" I complained.
"Yeah well that's why you have to go and meet some people so your not stuck around here all day" Aunty explained.
"Fine I'll try" I sighed as I walked off.

So I headed out the door and walked down the street to a nearby pizza place. As I walked in I saw lots of eyes looking at me. I was new here I had only arrived yesterday. So I went to the counter and ordered a Hawaiian pizza and sat down at an empty table.

I was sitting in silence when suddenly a group of people came and sat at my table.
They looked around my age.
"Hey aren't you new here?" said a pretty blonde girl.
"Yeah, I am" I replied confused.
"Wow must be hard being the new one" she replied with eager.
"Yeah I guess it kind of is" I told her.
"Hey you know what, maybe you should come hang out with us sometime" A guy said.
They all got up and walked off, a girl looked back and smiled at me so I smiled back.

I got up and went to the counter and asked if I could get my pizza put into a box so I could take it home. The guy said "sure you can."
I smiled and waited for my pizza. About a minute later he brought my pizza to me and I said "thank you."
"That will be $7.50" he told me.
So I gave him the cash and grabbed my pizza and said "thank you again."
Then I walked out the door with a grin on my face.

When I got home I told Aunty I brought the pizza home so we could share it.
