So this is a story that I wrote quite a while back. It has little meaning, just some random thoughts I put on paper. Enjoy.

She ran through the bush, faster and faster. She had no idea where she was going, she didn't care; all she knew was that she had to get away. She could hear the beast’s heavy hoof beat behind her. Its breathing coming closer and closer.

She had to get away. Suddenly there was a break in the bush. She skidded to a stop in the middle of a clearing. she could hear a stream trickling close by and the ground was covered in a heavy fog. It stood on the other end of the clearing. Looking right at her, cocking its head to the side, the predator studied its prey. Its bat-like wings spread out, and its red eyes bore into her. She stared back at the creature and it felt like it was looking inside of her.

The creature reared up. Its scream tore through the silence of the night. She was frozen in place. She had to get away. Something cold brushed against her arm and out of the corner of her eye she could see another creature, its red eye blinked at her. There was a snort to her right and the third creature’s cool breath blew into her neck. She was surrounded. She couldn’t get away. She closed her eyes and prayed for a quick end.

And so the end was quite quick, like I said, short story with little meaning.Thank you for reading!
