"Hiss~ It's so cold!"

Su Su, who didn't want to get out of bed, rolled around in her blanket and fell asleep again.

When she woke up again, it was because she was hungry.

With her eyes closed, she reached out to the bedside table to find her phone and turned on the screen.

The light from the screen made her eyes uncomfortable.

She squinted at the time on the phone screen, which showed 11:28.

Feeling the hunger in her stomach, she reluctantly got out of bed.

She felt she was getting into the habit of checking the thermometer first thing every morning. She put on four layers of clothing and shivered as she ran to the balcony.

With just one glance, she couldn't help but sigh. "Can this damn weather stop dropping? It's already minus 38 degrees, it's getting colder and colder."

After muttering, she went to turn on the faucet, only to find that the water had frozen.

She had to take out some previously boiled hot water from her space and mix it with cold water to wash up.

Since she woke up late, she combined breakfast and lunch.

Deciding what to eat every day was a real dilemma for her. After thinking for a while, she decided to have beef noodles.

With nothing else to do at home, she decided to cook the beef noodles herself.

She could cook more and store some in her space.

This was her usual practice, as her space had a cheat-like constant temperature preservation, so she didn't have to worry about food spoiling.

The weather was so cold that she didn't want to leave the stove, so she moved it to the kitchen.

She cleaned a large pot and placed it on the gas stove, added cold water, and turned on the heat.

Soon, the water in the pot was boiling. Su Su took out two packs of knife-cut noodles from her space, gently tore open the packaging, and put the noodles into the pot.

She stirred the noodles gently with chopsticks to prevent them from sticking together.

While the noodles were cooking, she took out a piece of braised beef.

This braised beef was the kind sold in the supermarket's freezer section, and she had tried it before and found it quite tasty.

She sliced the beef thinly, prepared some greens, and chopped some scallions and cilantro. Many people didn't like cilantro, but she thought it was delicious with beef noodles.

The noodles needed to cook for another three minutes. While waiting, she warmed her frozen hands by the stove.

She didn't forget to stir the noodles a few times during this period.

Three minutes passed quickly. She added the greens to the pot, along with salt, oil, and a packet of concentrated beef bone broth.

The aroma instantly filled the air, making her even hungrier.

She quickly took out a large bowl and several takeaway containers, divided the noodles into each bowl, and topped them with beef slices and chopped scallions and cilantro.

This pot made five bowls of beef knife-cut noodles. Next time she wanted to eat, she wouldn't have to cook again; she could just take it out from her space.

She put four bowls into her space, leaving the large bowl for today's breakfast and lunch.

She carried the bowl into the living room, took a sip of the hot soup, and felt the coldness in her body dissipate.
