The car ride was quiet, the weight of unspoken words hanging in the air. Tony stole glances at Peter, who sat in the passenger seat with his arms crossed, a pained expression on his face. As they pulled into the driveway, Tony’s mind raced with thoughts of how he could protect Peter from Flash and his crew.

Once inside, Peter made his way to the couch and sank into the cushions, grateful for the comfort but still feeling the remnants of the gym's brutality. Tony followed him, his protective instincts kicking in as he pulled out his phone.

“Hey, Morgan,” Tony said when she answered. “I need you to come over. It’s Peter… he’s had a rough day.”

Morgan’s voice filled the speaker, concern lacing her words. “What happened?”

“It’s just school stuff. He’s okay, but I want you to check on him,” Tony replied, glancing at Peter, who was staring blankly at the floor. “Bring Harley, Ned, and Wade too. I think he could use some company.”

“On it! We’ll be there in a few,” Morgan replied before hanging up.

Tony sat down next to Peter, who had his head resting back against the couch. “You okay?” he asked, keeping his tone light, but concern lingered in his voice.

“Yeah, just tired,” Peter muttered, his eyes still closed.

“Want to talk about it?” Tony probed, knowing that sometimes sharing was the best way to ease the burden.

Peter shook his head, opening his eyes to meet his father’s gaze. “Not really. I just want to forget today happened.”

Tony nodded, understanding. “Fair enough. Just remember, you’re not alone in this. I’m always here for you.”

“Thanks, Dad,” Peter said softly, a small smile breaking through. He appreciated his dad's unwavering support, especially during tough times.

Just then, the door swung open, and Morgan rushed in, followed closely by Harley, Ned, and Wade. The atmosphere shifted from somber to lively as they entered the living room.

“Peter!” Morgan exclaimed, her eyes wide with concern as she rushed over to him. “What happened? Are you okay?”

“Hey, I’m fine,” Peter replied, trying to dismiss their worries. But the way they all crowded around him made it hard to hide how he really felt.

Wade smirked, leaning against the doorframe with his arms crossed. “Sure, ‘fine’ usually means you just survived a school massacre. You sure you’re not hiding a few superpowers from us?”

“Shut up, Wade,” Peter muttered, rolling his eyes but unable to suppress a small grin.

“Seriously, though,” Harley said, moving to sit beside him. “If anyone’s bothering you, we can totally take them down. Right, guys?”

Ned nodded enthusiastically. “Yeah! We can form a plan. Operation: Beat Up Flash!”

Tony chuckled, watching the scene unfold. It warmed his heart to see Peter surrounded by friends who genuinely cared about him. “You guys are sweet, but let’s keep it verbal for now, okay?”

Morgan shot Tony a playful glare. “You’re just mad because we’re taking all the action away from you, Stark.”

Peter watched his dad and sister banter, feeling a lightness wash over him. It was moments like these that made everything feel bearable.

“Alright, everyone, how about we chill?” Tony suggested, trying to redirect their energy. “Let’s just hang out for a bit.”

“Great idea! I brought snacks!” Harley chimed in, pulling a bag of chips from her backpack as she plopped down next to Peter.
