The bell rang, signaling the start of another day at Midtown High. Peter and MJ walked through the school gates, side by side, exchanging small smiles that only they knew the true depth of. They were still getting used to the fact that they were married—actually married—and though it was exciting, they both agreed it was best to keep things quiet for now. No one knew about their wedding except for their closest friends, the dynamic six.

As they approached their lockers, they could already see two familiar figures waiting for them: Ned, standing with his trademark goofy grin, and Wade Wilson, leaning casually against the wall with a smirk plastered across his face. Peter had introduced Wade to the group after a particularly weird team-up incident, and although Wade was definitely a wildcard, the group had grown to love his ridiculous antics.

As soon as Peter and MJ were in sight, Wade’s smirk widened, and he immediately threw his arms up dramatically. “Well, well, well, if it isn’t the two lovebirds themselves! Peter ‘Married Life’ Parker and his lovely bride, MJ!”

Peter’s eyes widened, and he shot Wade a look. “Dude, seriously?”

MJ just chuckled, shaking her head. “Wade, can you not?”

But Wade was already in full teasing mode, bouncing over to them. “Oh, come on, Mrs. Parker, don’t be like that. I’m just saying, the two of you practically radiate that ‘newlyweds in love’ energy. It’s almost nauseating.”

Ned joined in, unable to contain his own excitement. “Yeah, man, it’s so weird! I mean, you’re married. Married. Like, how does that even feel? Are you guys still, you know… like, is it the same?”

Peter groaned, running a hand through his hair as he grabbed his books from his locker. “We’re still the same, Ned. Just… married. It’s not like we’re walking around with neon signs that say ‘We Just Got Hitched.’”

Wade made a gasping sound, covering his mouth with mock surprise. “You mean you’re not going to make out in front of the lockers every chance you get? You’re really letting me down, Parker.”

MJ smirked, leaning against her locker. “If we did, Wade, it’s not for your entertainment.”

Wade clutched his chest, pretending to be heartbroken. “Ouch, MJ. That stings. I thought we had something special.”

Harley strolled in just in time to catch the tail end of Wade’s teasing. “Don’t encourage him,” he said, shaking his head. “He’ll just get worse.”

Morgan jogged up behind Harley, giving Peter and MJ a quick wink. “Hey, lovebirds. How’s married life treating you?” she asked, her voice full of warmth but still playful.

Peter rolled his eyes, though he couldn’t help the smile that tugged at his lips. “We’re fine, Morgan. And married life’s good, I guess. Thanks for asking.”

Ned leaned in, lowering his voice like he was sharing some top-secret information. “I still can’t believe you guys managed to pull it off without anyone finding out. I mean, how did you keep it a secret?”

MJ shrugged with a playful smile. “It helps when you’ve got Tony Stark handling security. No one gets past him.”

Wade leaned back with a satisfied grin. “Well, it’s only a matter of time before someone finds out. But don’t worry, I won’t spill the beans. I love drama too much to ruin it so soon.”

Peter shot Wade another look, shaking his head. “Thanks, I think?”

“Relax, Parker,” Wade said, clapping a hand on Peter’s shoulder. “Your secret is safe with me—for now.”
