"A festive day that everyone looks forward to

Became a disaster within a minute or two

Come and witness how the festive noises

Became screams of despair"

First day of summer, year 841

In the kingdom of Fyn, a joyous festival was being held in the great palace that all citizens looked forward to seeing, the coming of age of the third princess of the kingdom.

The market was bustling with joy and excitement, every person talked about the third princess's name with pride and joy.

In the palace, when everyone was busy, a rushing step could be heard in all corners of the room.

"Princess Celestia, happy birthday" the butler greeted the princess.

"Thank you, Robert," a 15-year-old girl replied to the palace butler.

The third princess is Celestia Isabella von Huxley. She has beautiful blond hair, emerald-green eyes, a fairy-like face, and elegance. She is known for her beauty and kindness and for being loved by everybody.

The palace was busy preparing for the grand ball, 'everything must be perfect' from the cake to the decoration no flaw must be found. Everyone in the kingdom is busy with the upcoming ball except 'The Fourth Princess'

The fourth princess Selene Von Huxley, is the total opposite of the third princess, while princess Celestia is known for being a fairy, Princess Selene is known for being a witch, because of her ash-grey like hair color that resembles an old woman and gloomy and unattractive eye that everyone avoids.

Princess Selene is the dark horse of the imperial family. Only several citizens recognize her, and the others don't care about her. Even her own family doesn't want her. The princess has been ignored by others and has been a victim of bullying since childhood, to the point where even the maids don't bother to hide their disgust for her.

While the whole palace was in uproar in preparation, Princess Selene quietly read an old book about politics. No one tried to stop the princess cause no one wanted to waste their busy time dealing with useless trash.

The Imperial family is busy preparing their outfits. The head maid is assigned to dress and make up the princesses excluding Princess Selene. Everything is going as planned.

For them, everything is going as planned but no one expected 'that' to happen that would cause everything into chaos.

A COUPLE OF HOURS LATER

The third princess Celestia Isabella von Huxley coming-of-age celebration started.

Nobles are consecutively coming into the great hall of the kingdom of Fyn. Some are drinking and boasting, some aristocrats are trying to gain favor from a higher noble, some ladies are talking and gossiping, and some of the couples are dancing.

The citizens who could not attend the ball started a festival on their own. One can easily see the happiness on their faces, the children are playing, the couples are dancing, the sellers shout, and the tourists are enjoying themselves. The town was bustling with lights and laughter.

Locked in an old library, Princess Selene was happily reading an old book about 'the theory of magic'. Unbothered about how her shabby dress got wrinkled, about not having food to eat, and about being locked up in an old library.

Princess Selene is the type of person who values education more than appearance. Next to her is a bunch of books with different information, some of them related to magic, different methods of cuisine, and theories.

"His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen have arrived" the announcer loudly declared. A mid-thirties couple appeared in front of the crowd, the emperor and empress wearing majestic outfits that emphasized their elegance and intelligence.

Everybody's mood was elevated to another level when the king and queen appeared before them. They bow down to show respect to the ruler of the kingdom.

"The crown prince Earl Devon von Huxley has arrived," the announcer loudly declarAd. a 20-year-old man appeared before the crowd, he had light blond hair and emerald eyes. He was known for being clever at a young age.

"The 2nd prince Lance Adrian von Huxley and the 1st princess Lucienne Allouette von Huxley, have arrived" the announcer loudly declared. An identical 18-year-old twin suddenly appeared in front of the crowd. They both have lime-blond hair and have a pair of dark green eyes. They were known for being the bravest of the imperial family.

"The 2nd Princess Daphne Cassidy von Huxley has arrived" the announcer loudly declared. Following them is a 17-year-old girl, with light blond hair and clover green eyes. She was known for being the smartest.

"And for today's main character, the 3rd princess Celestia Isabella von Huxley, has arrived" the announcer excitedly declared As she walked down the stairs while many eyes looked at her in awe. The crowd, especially the men, was in a daze, because of the princess's stunning appearance, which made some women envious and some jealous.

While walking down the stairs Princess Celestia was aware that right now she was the center of attention.

'That's right bow down to me, you lowly fools'

Only a few people know about the princess's double personality, truthfully, she was always the cause of Princess Selene's hell-like life.

"Thank you for being present at my coming-of-age celebration, as a thank you I permit everyone to share alcohol with me," Princess Celestia said,

'Yes, be honored to share a cup with me, a lowly being like you all, must bow to me and think highly of me'

"I hope you all enjoy the night" she exclaimed, ending her speech.

Everyone was busy chatting with one another and greeting the imperial family. The prince and princess scattered to every part of the room to greet the guests.

Little did they know that several black cloak men successfully infiltrated the palace. Everyone is too busy to notice. Everyone except for Selene.
