Prologue

March 26th

I awoke from a deep sleep and being a 21-year-old girl of course I immediately opened my phone. I opened snapchat to see memories from a year ago today where Schlatt, a friend of his and I filmed a video for Schlatt's YouTube channel. A lot of people don't know this but I'm actually his younger sister. Only we don't get to see each other often because I moved to Texas as soon as I turned 18 and he stayed in New York with our parents. I miss him remarkably. He was and still is my best friend. Luckily, he visits me often, as I do him. I decided to get out of bed and get ready for the day, regardless of the fact I had nothing to do. I carefully made my bed and picked out an outfit for the day. I chose the obvious decision, which was an all-black Juicy Coutre sweatsuit and a white tank top for underneath the zip up. I wanted something cozy and comfortable seeing as it was a little chilly out and I was most likely going to stay in my apartment all day. Today was hair wash day so I started the shower and took my sweet ass time.

I walked into my office/streaming room, which I probably should've made into the guest room. I sat at my desk and loaded up Twitch to see if anyone I watch was streaming. With it only being noon, nobody was live. I had made a good audience for myself from starting Twitch and YouTube when I was 16. That and Schlatt had given me a good amount of clout. I had nothing better to do so I started streaming. Today was a face cam kind of day. I waited for my chat to fill up before turning my camera on.

"Hi chat!!" I said cheerily into my mic. I had the best fanbase. It was a mixture between hilarious people, thanks to my older brother, and a bunch of cutie patooties. "What should we play today!?" The chat was evenly filled with Minecraft and Valorant. My two main video games. My mods ran a poll and Minecraft won by only two percent. "Alrighty guys I guess it's Minecraft." I pulled up Spotify and shuffled my streaming playlist whilst I booted up Minecraft. I loaded into Hypixel and started playing bed wars while chatting with my fans. After about three hours I had grown bored. "Okay chat I'm going to head out and probably get some food or something, I love you all so much, I appreciate every single one of you, thank you for tuning in." I made a heart with my fingers as I ended the stream and just sat there for a minute. I changed my music to $uicideBoy$ and opened Discord. I had a new friend request and dm. I checked both of them only to see they were from the same person by the name of "Yumi". I thought that sounded familiar. I was getting a facetime from Schlatt so I answered it.

"What's up big dawg!" Yeah, I had to turn my volume down.

"Hey extra big dawg."

"What are you up to?"

"I was going to go get food I'm just checking my discord right now. Do you know who Yumi is?"

"Yeah, he's my friend we filmed that video with. Reacting to my fans hideous bedrooms, remember?" So that's why it was so familiar.

"Oh yeah, I do."

"Alright you have fun getting food y/n, I'll talk to you later, okay?"

"Goodbye my favorite brother I love you!"

"I'm your only brother but love you too." He stared deeply and scarily into the camera before hanging up. I accepted Yumi's friend request and read his dm.

"Sorry I didn't mean to add you, I was looking through the list of names in my server and misclicked." I messaged him back.

"All good! Happens to the best of us! I didn't even know I was in your server tbh." I blinked and all of a sudden, he was typing already. That was quick, I thought to myself.

"Wowww I see how it is. Literally filmed a vid with you."

"Hey now man, I could say the same thing to you rn."

"Okay you have a point there. Here's my number. (***) ***-****" I saved his number in my phone and sent him cup pong.
