A week later, I got up, and got ready. It was the weekend though, so Lily wasn't screaming for us to get up. I then headed to the Great Hall with Caroline, surprisingly early. Must be routine.
As I was passing the Gryffindor table, I remembered something.
I walked over to it until I reached where Neville was sitting.
Seamus sat across from him and noticed me behind Neville, then looked at me.
Neville noticed and looked behind him and looked frightened for some reason.
"Hi!" I exclaim to him.
He looks around as if to make sure I wasn't talking to someone else, then utters a "H-hello,"
"I just wanted to give you something for everything that happened to you yesterday," I explained.
He looked very confused. "M-m-me?"
"Yes, you!"
I then pulled my hands out from behind my back, which he flinched a bit from, and showed him an asphodel flower in a small brown pot.
"A lot of people would prefer baked goods which I also enjoy making, but I didn't have the time for that. Besides, a little birdie told me that you enjoy Herbology, so I asked Professor Sprout about some plants that aren't harmful that I could give as a present!" I said.
I handed it to him, to which he reluctantly took it and stared at it.
After analyzing and studying it, he shyly said, "thanks."
"Of course! Thought it might make you feel better! Just to let you know, I also enjoy Herbology, so if you ever wanted to talk about it with me, don't be afraid to just come up and ask. I don't know many people who enjoy Herbology." I said.
I smiled, and he gave me slow but full toothed smile.
"Well I better get going. See you later maybe? We can talk about our favorite plants." I said.
I waved and he gave a small, shy, wave back as I walked back to the Hufflepuff table.
"Y/n!" I heard from a familiar voice.
I turned to see Hermione.
"Hey "Mione! What's up?"
"Well Harry has a super early Quidditch practice for the Gryffindor team, and Ron and I were going to go and watch him. I didn't expect you to be up this early, but since you are, we were wondering if you wanted to come to help cheer him on. He's doing warm ups right now, but when we're done with breakfast we can see the actual practice." Hermione explained.
"Uh," I turned to Caroline. "Sure, but you don't mind if Caroline comes, right?"
"No problem. Better to have more to help cheer him on, he needs all the support he can gets because of how groggy he was getting up early this morning," Hermione said.
"Ok cool. You're alright with that, right Caroline? You don't have to go if you don't want to," I confirm.
"No, I don't mind," She said. "Sounds interesting, I never went to the anything for Gryffindor team before."
"Ok great," I said. "Just let us know when you're ready and we can all walk together,"
"Ok," Hermione said.
We then walked back to our tables and started to eat breakfast.
"I'm excited to see Harry at a Quidditch practice. I've never seen it before. Only the game with the whole thing with Harry's broom getting jinxed." I said, grabbing a piece of pancake I cut up.
