A Year and a Half Later.
*Calvin's POV*
There's nothing I want more than to not have so see Haven and Hannah just every other week.
For the past year and a half, we've been alternating visits. Her and Hannah coming down here, we go up there, and it's been great.
I haven't seen my dad so happy since my mom died than when we're with Hannah and Haven.
But I know what you're all wondering.
What is going on with Shay and Ricky? They're finally dating, they've been together as more than 'We're seeing where it goes.' For 6 months now. It's about time, took them a year of talking and Tucker's assholistic comments.
Colten, still single as fuck.
Lane, he, Tuck and Colten still hate each other.
Tucker, broke up with Raygan last week because he literally walked in on her fucking Colt's older brother at a house party. Laid Brody the hell out.
Me? Still have not had sex, I've had 3 girlfriends who were ok with not having sex until they weren't. Don't get me wrong, we've tried, have not gotten past the tip, and was left high and dry after a hand job.
And then the real thing you're wondering.
Delilah.
Delilah and I have not spoken in over a year.
She started avoiding family dinners all together, so to spare her from missing dinner at her own house, I stopped going. Pretty much, we don't go to each others houses anymore.
She is currently dating Mark Gibson, which fuck him. He's an asshole to literally everyone but her.
And when this one fucks up and their relationship eventually ends, he'll magically be scared shitless to even be in the same hallway as her just like the rest of them.
A well taught trick by Cory, who still checks in on me when he's home from school.
But as for right now, the 5 of us are sitting in Abuelo and Abuela's living room after eating my body weight in Martina's cooking, feeling happy as ever while Haven explains the importance of corn in Mexico, when dad clears his throat.
"So uh. We wanted to talk to the three of you about something." He took a deep breath.
"Oh god someone died." I sighed.
He looked at me and raised his eyebrows. "That is not funny." He shook hs head.
I choked back a laugh. "Sorry."
"No. No one died." Hannah smiled and shook her head. "But, while you were all out exploring today, something did happen. And I wanted to run it by you all first."
"No les va a importer." Abuela shook her head. "Te quieren Feliz."
Haven raised her eyebrows and looked at Hannah. "Care about what?" She smiled.
"Mama." Hannah sighed.
"Huh?" I scrunched my face. "I know Feliz means happy. But what?"
"Martina callate." Abuelo nudged her and kissed her cheek.
"She just wants to check in with you to make sure you're all ok with this." Dad nodded. "But, while we were at Gumbo Limbo, with both Abuelo and Abuela there, with their permission of course, I asked Hannah, if she would marry me."
Brayden and I both raised our eyebrows and looked at each other.
"Please tell her so she will stop panicking." He sighed.
