Just Because

It was one of those rare occasions where all the members of BINI miraculously had the weekend off so syempre they decided to have a girls' night in and nag offer si Colet na mag-host ng small gathering sa condo nya. Just a casual dinner set-up sa may rooftop since private naman and the weather was still nice kahit na rainy season was slowly approaching. Each girls were to bring na kahit anong food or beverage na gusto nila, pero ang totoo, Colet wanted to assign each item per member, like a Potluck if you may, to make sure no one brings the same thing pero todo protesta naman yung mga girls, stating they should trust their instincts and knowledge about each other.

"Para saan nalang na naging BINI tayo?" Sheena typed in their group chat. Full of enthusiasm and confidence sa mga Ate nya, di mo sure kung with sarcasam ba yun or totoo.

"Kaya nga ako nag-aalala, Shee!" Colet typed in with a facepalm emoji. Napindot nanaman nga si Anger.

Friday finally came and it was around afternoon when Mikha and Aiah were getting ready at their shared condo.

Mikha was in their walk in closet, browsing for casual clothing she thought of wearing. 

"Why is Ate Colet's dinner get together starts at 5pm again? Parang ang early naman yata?" She yelled as Aiah was in the bathroom, blow drying her hair.

Aiah heard a muffled voice but couldn't understand so she decided to finish off drying her hair and unplugged the device once she was done.

"What was that love?" She finally answered, walking out of the bathroom to see Mikha.

There she saw her girlfriend coming out of their closet (pun intended) while putting on a white hoodie over her white t-shirt to match the black joggers and white shoes.

Aiah was in awe at this sight of the casual outfit that her girlfriend was wearing, that's why she didn't hear Mikha calling her until the latter approached and started waiving her hand in front of her.

"Babi? Hellooo...?"

Aiah came back to her senses and shook her head.

"Sorry Mikhs, ano yung sinabi mo?" She asked, still dazed.

"I asked why did we have to go early at Ate Colet's condo but never mind that." Mikha looked at her confusedly. "Are you okay Babi? Lutang ka nanaman yata."

"Oh, I don't know, you just look poganda as hell with this outfit that's why."

Mikha blushed hearing the compliment. Really, she didn't even try to dress up since it was a casual dinner with the girls and she thought she just needed to look presentable but here was her girlfriend gazing at her with heart eyes and calling her poganda.

"I'm guessing you like what you see?" Mikha smirked.

"Like? More like LOVE!" Aiah wrapped her arms around her girlfriend's neck and automatically Mikha's arms wrapped around her waist and accepting the incoming sweet kiss.

"Why thank you my love, ikaw nga o, sobrang ganda kahit simple outfit lang." She checked out her girl from up and down. "Although sure ka ba na you don't want to wear a sweater instead? Baka mas lumamig mamaya, lamigin ka pa naman."

Aiah was wearing a yellow cardigan on top of her white tank top, black pants and white shoes to couple up with Mkha.

"I should be fine love, medyo makapal naman 'tong cardigan ko. Besides, it's not that cold outside pa naman." She reassured her.

"Okay, ikaw po bahala. Well, are you ready?"

"Yep! Just have to grab the bottle of wine from the kitchen and yung cake sa fridge and we're good to go."
