sunoo's car recently broke down, so he had no choice but to ask ni-ki for a ride.
he ran to ni-ki who was currently sticking decorations outside of the classes. "hey!" he said, tapping ni-ki's shoulder.

ni-ki turned around and looked at him, raising an eyebrow. "oh, you're here to be useful for once, huh?" he said, turning around to stick more decorations.

sunoo scoffed at the harsh—but teasing comment from the other. he scoffs and continues his sentence. "im here to ask for a ride, asshole." he crosses his arms as he finally finished his sentence, tapping his foot impatiently to the floor, waiting for a response ASAP.

"of course you are. you know uber does exist, right?" he said, while turning to face sunoo back.

sunoo rolls his eyes, "there's none available!", he said, clearly annoyed by the obvious statement from the other, he just needed a ride, whats the big deal?

"and that's my problem because ...?" ni-ki said, turning back around to hang more decorations. "stop being a baby. you gotta learn how to not be so dependent one day anyway. just walk home."

sunoo's pout deepened, he just needed a ride. "what if someone kidnaps me?" he said, in a challenging tone.

"yeah i know you think your important, but you're not." he teases. "besides, that could happen whether it's day or night. are you expecting me to be your knight in shining armor or something?" he finishes the sentence with sarcasm.

"ni-ki pleaasseeeee? he said, fluttering his eyelashes, looking up at the taller with his signature puppy eyes.

ni-ki groans, looking away. "god you're so irritating, you know what? fine, but only because its like, late."

sunoo's eyes light up in shock and excitement, he didn't think ni-ki would agree. he decided to tease him abit. "aw, so you do care about me!" he said, smiling brightly.

ni-ki rolls his eyes. "don't make this more than it is, i just don't wanna have to deal with you whining all night again." he glances at the unfinished decorations, "i'll finish this up real quick, you can sit somewhere 'till then."

he quickly wraps up hanging decorations, and then goes to put the rest of the boxes away.

sunoo walks over to a chair near where ni-ki was putting decorations, and waits for ni-ki to finish.

the room is strangely silent for a while. ni-ki can feel sunoo's eyes on him a couple of times, but he chooses to ignore them as he does his work. finally, he puts the last of the decorations away. "alright," he says. "let's go."

he grabs his backpack, slings it over his shoulder, and motions for sunoo to follow him to the parking lot

it's quiet again as they walk, at this point, most of the school is empty, and the sun has almost fully set.

ni-ki stops at the black suv parked at a far end of the lot.

on the other hand, sunoo shivered abit as the cold night weather brushed against his pale— soft skin, glancing at ni-ki's jacket around the other boy's neck.

ni-ki notices, and can't help but roll his eyes. he takes the jacket off his shoulders and drapes it over sunoo.

"don't make it weird," he mumbles.

sunoo fell in shock at the unexpected action, but he hides it with a slight smile.

ni-ki unlocks the door and gets in the driver's seat. once sunoo is also inside and buckled up, he starts the car.

"give me directions. i have no idea where you live." he said resting on the drivers seat, waiting for an answer.

"about that.." sunoo said, fiddling with the small cinnamoroll bag on his lap.
