Charlie, Ivy and Izzy stared at Steve in shock. "Wow, I was just being an idiot for fun..." says Izzy. Steve side eyes Izzy and then goes into the building. The trio stare at him in confusion. After about 7 minutes of awkward silence Steve returns, holding the trio's friend Violet's hand.
Steve tosses Violet into the back of the truck, then gets in the front and starts driving. "Oh! Violet! yaaaayyyyy!" says Izzy. Steve side-eyes her. "So, why exactly did you kidnap us?" Asks Charlie. Steve doesn't respond. Charlie narrows their eyes suspiciously.
Steve side-eyes them preppily. Charlie side-eyes them back because they are also preppy. "I've decided to kidnap you bc I accidentally threw my son off a cliff and now I need more helpers"
(Don't ask me when in the Darren Shan books this is set I have no freaking idea 💀)
"Oh, why did you throw him off a cliff?" asks Ivy. "because..." Steve replies.
"Because isn't an answer." says Charlie. Steve turns back to the wheel and speeds out of the school gates.
