As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the yard, Peter and Morgan sprawled on the grass, catching their breath after the exhilarating game. Laughter and playful banter continued to flow as the rest of the group settled down around them, feeling the warmth of the fading day.
Tony watched the twins, a fond smile spreading across his face. He approached them, kneeling beside their resting forms. “You two did an incredible job out there. I’m impressed,” he said, ruffling Peter’s hair playfully.
“Thanks, Dad!” Peter replied, grinning. “But it was all Morgan’s brilliant strategy!”
Morgan nudged him with a laugh. “Oh please, you were the one who made the game fun! I just suggested we charge at them like crazy people.”
“Good strategy nonetheless,” Tony said, his pride evident. “Just remember, teamwork makes the dream work, even in the midst of chaos.”
“Got it, Dad!” Morgan said, beaming up at him. “Maybe next time we can come up with an even crazier plan!”
“Or we can just keep it simple and let you two lead the charge,” Steve interjected, walking over to join them. He knelt beside Tony, resting a hand on Morgan's shoulder. “You both have a natural knack for this kind of thing. Just remember to look out for each other.”
“Always, Pops,” Peter replied, sharing a glance with Morgan that spoke volumes about their unbreakable bond.
As the sun set, Tony looked at Steve, his expression softening. “I love seeing them like this. They remind me so much of us when we were younger, running around, making plans to save the world.”
“Yeah, it’s nice to see them being kids,” Steve said, leaning back on his hands. “They deserve every moment of happiness after everything we’ve all been through.”
“I hope they stay like this forever,” Tony said quietly, looking at his kids with a mix of hope and protectiveness.

From a short distance away, MJ watched the scene unfold with a warm smile on her face. She stood beside Wade, Harley, Ned, and the other Avengers, taking in the sight of Peter, Morgan, Tony, and Steve sharing a moment filled with laughter and love.
“They really are something else, aren’t they?” MJ said, her voice low but filled with admiration.
“Absolutely,” Wade replied, leaning back against the fence with a grin. “These kids are the real heroes. Just look at how they stick together!”
“They’re a great team,” Harley added. “And it’s all thanks to their amazing dads.”
Ned nodded, his gaze fixed on the twins. “You can see the bond they share. It’s unbreakable.”
As the group watched, the twins stood up, and Peter threw his arm around Morgan’s shoulder, pulling her close. They both beamed at Tony and Steve, who responded with proud smiles.
“They’re going to make a difference in this world, no doubt,” Tony said, looking at Morgan and Peter with pride in his eyes.
“They already are,” Steve added softly, watching as the twins teased each other, their laughter ringing like music in the air.
MJ felt a swell of affection for her husband and his family. “May God always keep them like this—happy and loving of each other,” she murmured, her heart full as she glanced at the other Avengers.
The sentiment resonated with everyone around her. They shared knowing smiles, feeling the warmth of the moment.
“Agreed,” Ned said, folding his arms with a soft smile. “It’s moments like this that remind us why we fight.”
