The night had deepened, the glow of the city lights spilling into the room as laughter and warmth enveloped the Stark household. With MJ and Peter out on their date, the atmosphere felt a little quieter but equally filled with anticipation.

In the living room, Tony and Steve sat together, their fingers entwined, while Morgan, Harley, Ned, and Wade were sprawled out on the floor, debating which game to play next.

“Should we do charades or Pictionary?” Morgan asked, glancing at her friends.

“Charades! I want to see Wade try to act out a whale,” Harley laughed, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

“Hey, I’m a great actor!” Wade protested, puffing his chest out dramatically. “I once played a tree in a school play.”

“More like a shrub,” Ned quipped, earning a round of chuckles from everyone.

As the laughter faded, Steve glanced around, a sense of gratitude filling him. He loved seeing the kids bond like this, the joy in their faces reminding him of the importance of family, especially in their line of work.

“You know,” Steve said, breaking the comfortable silence, “it’s moments like these that really ground me. With everything going on in the world, I’m grateful we have this.”

“Absolutely,” Tony replied, squeezing Steve’s hand. “We’ve built something incredible here, haven’t we? Not just as heroes, but as a family.”

Morgan leaned back against the couch, looking at them with admiration. “I love our family. We’ve all been through so much, and yet here we are, still together.”

Wade grinned. “And not just surviving—thriving! Can you imagine what would happen if we actually tried to have a normal family dinner? It’d be chaos.”

“Normal? What’s that?” Harley chimed in. “This is as normal as it gets for us.”

“Let’s be real,” Ned said with a chuckle, “normal would be boring.”

Meanwhile, as Peter drove through the illuminated streets, he felt excitement bubbling within him. “Are you ready for your surprise?” he asked MJ, glancing at her.

“Absolutely! You’ve built up the suspense. I’m intrigued!” she replied, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

They pulled up to a quaint little restaurant, the warm lights spilling out onto the sidewalk. “This is where we’re going,” Peter said, opening the door for her.

“Wow, it looks amazing!” MJ said, stepping out and taking in the ambiance. “I’ve never been here.”

“I thought you’d like it,” he said, offering his arm as they walked in together.

The interior was cozy, adorned with soft lighting and tasteful décor. The host led them to a table tucked away in a quiet corner, providing the perfect setting for an intimate dinner.

As they settled in, Peter felt the nerves fluttering in his stomach. “I just wanted to do something special for you,” he admitted, looking into her eyes. “I know we’ve been busy, and it’s easy to forget to take time for ourselves.”

MJ smiled softly, her heart swelling with affection. “This is so thoughtful, Peter. Thank you.”

Their conversation flowed effortlessly, ranging from their favorite movies to funny memories from their time as superheroes. Laughter filled the space, creating a bubble of warmth around them.

Back at home, the game night continued, with the group erupting into laughter as Harley attempted to mime a scene from a movie.

“Is that even a movie?” Tony asked, chuckling.

“Yes, it is! I’m a classic!” Harley defended himself, pantomiming even more exaggeratedly.

“More like a classic disaster,” Steve teased, crossing his arms and watching the chaos unfold with amusement.

“I’ll show you a classic disaster,” Wade interjected, jumping up to imitate a whale, flopping his arms and making ridiculous noises that sent everyone into fits of laughter.

“Okay, okay, that’s enough!” Morgan laughed, holding her stomach. “Let’s get back to the game, or we’ll never finish!”

---

Meanwhile, at the restaurant, Peter reached across the table, taking MJ’s hand in his. “I know things can get hectic. But I want you to know that you’re my anchor. No matter how crazy things get, I’ll always come back to you.”

MJ’s heart fluttered at his words. “And you’re my superhero,” she replied, squeezing his hand gently. “I wouldn’t trade this life for anything.”

The waiter arrived with their meals, and as they began to eat, the conversation shifted to their hopes for the future.

“What do you think we’ll be doing in five years?” MJ asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

“Saving the world, one day at a time,” Peter joked. “But I also see us having a family one day. Maybe a couple of kids running around?”

MJ smiled, her heart swelling at the thought. “I’d love that. Just imagine the chaos!”

Back home, the group was still immersed in their game night, the bond between them growing stronger with every shared laugh and playful tease.

Morgan noticed Tony and Steve exchanging glances, their eyes filled with love. “You guys are really the best role models,” she said, her voice sincere.

Steve looked at her, his heart warming at the compliment. “We’re just trying to do what’s right.”

“And make sure you all know how to love and support each other,” Tony added, pulling Steve closer.

The atmosphere felt heavy with affection, and Morgan sighed contentedly. “May God always keep us like this—happy and loving each other.”

“Agreed,” Wade said, raising an imaginary glass. “To family!”

“To family!” everyone echoed, laughter and warmth enveloping the room as the night went on, each moment a reminder of the love and strength they shared.

As Peter and MJ returned home later that night, they were greeted by the laughter and chaos of their friends. The warmth radiating from the living room made Peter smile.

“Hey, we’re back!” he called, wrapping his arm around MJ.

“Did you have fun?” Morgan asked, eyes twinkling.

“It was amazing,” MJ replied, leaning into Peter. “He really surprised me.”

“Good job, Spider-Man!” Harley cheered, giving Peter a thumbs-up.

“Now, let’s continue the game!” Wade exclaimed, bouncing on his feet.

Peter and MJ exchanged glances, filled with joy as they joined their friends. No matter the challenges that lay ahead, they knew they had each other and their makeshift family to lean on. And together, they could face anything.
