Fallin stood at the entrance to Alfea, her heart pounding with a mixture of excitement and nerves. The majestic gates, adorned with intricate designs, swung open, revealing the enchanting grounds of the renowned fairy school. Fallin stepped forward, her eyes wide with wonder. She felt like she already knew the place, having spent most of the last few years going between here and her family's home not far from Alfea. But to see it on the first day of a new school year, this time knowing that this would be her own first year, filled her with excitement. The path leading into the heart of Alfea was lined with vibrant new students, all equally excited to be here.

She marveled at the variety, recognizing some from last year, but seeing many others for the first time. As she walked, she caught glimpses of students practicing their spells, the air shimmering with the energy of their magic. She also saw Stella, Sky's ex-girlfriend, taking pictures with some of the new students. The two of them weren't particularly close but they didn't dislike each other. She hadn't heard much from her since she and Sky had broken up. Fallin shook herself from her thoughts as she remembered what she was doing. She was here to find her father, or at least find Sky, her so-called older brother, who her father took in after his father passed, and was now in his second year in Alfea, training to become a specialist. Sky had always been her protector, and just knowing he was around gave her a sense of comfort. Even when she couldn't find him or anyone she knew at the moment.

Suddenly she heard a familiar voice from beside her: "Oh my, do my eyes deceive me? Is that the magnificent Fallin I see?" said Riven, her brother's best friend teasingly as he approached her. She turned away from him and started walking again as she answered, without looking at him: "Piss off Riven." He laughed as he caught up to her and put an arm around her shoulders.

She scrunched her nose immediately as the smell hit her and scoffed: "You stink of smoke." He smirked and turned his head towards her, his breath caressing her neck as he answered smugly: "You know... You liked it last summer." She gave him a warning look, looking around to see if anyone could have heard what he said. Then, ignoring his comment, she turned to him and asked: "Have you seen Sky around? I can't find him anywhere," she stopped walking and looked at him.

He shrugged and said: "I haven't seen him yet." Then, Riven's gaze shifted, his dark eyes sparkling with mischief. "You know, it might be a little boring waiting outside here all alone. How about you come hang out in my dorm while you wait for him?" Fallin studied him, a mix of amusement and suspicion on her face. "Oh really? And what would we do in your dorm? Study?" she asked sarcastically, already knowing what he was implying. "Sure," he said, feigning innocence, his grin widening. "We could study... or maybe just talk. I mean, it's not like I have any ulterior motives." His tone dripped with mock sincerity.

"Riven," she said, crossing her arms, a smile tugging at her lips for a moment, before she sighed. Before she could answer, she finally spotted Sky not far from where she and Riven where standing. To her suprise, he wasn't alone, as she could see him talking to a pretty redhead. Riven followed her eyes and whistled.

As he started to grin and made his way over to where her brother stood, Fallin tried to stop him: "Riven, stop," Her try was already failed, when he called out: "Quit perving on the first years," as he approached them, Fallin following after him. "Riv, just give me a second. Yeah?" Sky replied, looking at them: "Good to see you, Fal." "Why, are you gonna chase her?" Riven asked teasingly.

Both of the siblings turned their gaze to the redheaded girl who was already making her exit, a mischievous spark in Riven's eye. Sky let out a dramatic sigh, rolling his eyes. "Nope." Riven's grin stretched wider as he launched himself at his best friend, tackling him into a tight hug. Laughter erupted between the both, as Fallin watched it all with a smile "Isn't this adorable?" she teased, hands on her hips, a playful smirk on her face. "I'll leave you two lovebirds to cuddle it out while I go check out my new roommates." Before she could turn away, Sky released Riven and stepped toward Fallin, wrapping her in a warm hug. "It's nice to finally have you here." he said, a genuine smile spreading across his face. "Thanks, Sky." she replied honestly, returning the embrace. She was already starting to get nervous, even though she just got here but having her brother here, helped to calm her down.
