Boruto stood at the edge of the forest, the village of Konoha just a stone's throw away.
The gentle evening breeze blew his blonde hair, and his eyes were fixed on the tree line.
He knew Sarada was waiting for him - as he did every time, he sneaked near the village to see her.

The desire to bring his parents back and stop Kawaki weighed heavily on him, but his time with Sarada was always his bright spot.
A moment of peace in all the chaos. He smiled as he recognized her familiar figure in the shadows of the trees.
She was already waiting, her arms crossed over her chest, but her eyes sparkled with joy when she saw him.

Her heart beat faster every time he came, but today was different.
Today felt more intense - like something big was about to happen.

"You're late," she teased as he walked towards her.
"It wasn't so easy to keep myself out of Kawaki's sight," Boruto replied with a slight grin.
His eyes, as blue as the sky, radiated warmth.
"But it was worth it."

Sarada felt her heart skip a beat. Whenever he looked at her like that, she forgot the world around her for a moment.
She laughed quietly, and the two of them began their walk through the forest, as they often did. The nature around them was calm, and they simply enjoyed each other's closeness.

They spent the next few hours talking and laughing.
Boruto told her about his plans and how he wanted to trick Kawaki and bring his parents back.

Sarada listened intently, her admiration for him growing with every word. He was strong and determined, but at the same time, so gentle when he was with her.

After a while, they sat down on a fallen tree trunk; the evening twilight bathed the forest in a warm, golden light.
Boruto put an arm around Sarada, and she leaned against him slightly, feeling the warmth of his body.
The moment felt so familiar, so right. But then Boruto suddenly became serious.

"Sarada..." He pulled his arm back and turned to her.
"I have something to tell you." Sarada's heart clenched as she looked into his serious eyes.
She sensed what was coming, and her chest felt heavy.
"You have to go again, don't you?"

Boruto nodded.
"Yes... It may take a few months before I can come back. I have to move forward with my plan. I can't fool Kawaki forever."
The words hit her like a blow.

Sarada knew it was inevitable that he would have to leave, but she had hoped that this moment was far in the future.
A sharp pain spread through her chest. The thought of not seeing him again for months was unbearable.

"Boruto..." she whispered and slowly stood up. Her hands trembled slightly as she looked at him, but she couldn't suppress her feelings any longer.
"I don't want you to go."

He looked at her in surprise as she stepped closer.
"Sarada..."
"Listen," she said, her voice quiet but firm.
"I can't pretend it's okay to keep letting you go anymore. Every time you're gone, all I think about is you. I can't stop thinking about you."
Her eyes glittered in the setting sun as she finally expressed her feelings. "I...I love you, Boruto."

His eyes widened as he heard her words. His heart began to beat faster, and for a moment, he didn't know what to say.
But then, without hesitation, he stepped closer to her and placed his hands gently on her shoulders.

"Sarada..." he whispered.
"I love you, too..."
A gentle smile played on his lips as he looked into her deep, dark eyes, which now seemed so vulnerable. "I've wanted to tell you this so many times, but I thought I needed to sort this all out first."

Before Sarada could respond, Boruto leaned forward slightly, his hands sliding from her shoulders to her cheeks. He lifted her chin and looked deep into her eyes before gently placing his lips on hers.

The kiss was soft and tender, and the world around them seemed to stand still for a moment.
Sarada closed her eyes, her heart beating in a frantic rhythm as she lost herself in the moment.

She returned the kiss, letting herself be overwhelmed by the warmth and tenderness Boruto gave her. Everything she had ever felt flowed into that one moment.

After what felt like an eternity, they pulled away from each other, their foreheads leaning against each other as they both took deep breaths. Boruto smiled softly, his thumbs lightly stroking her cheeks.

Then he pulled her tightly into his arms, holding her as if he never wanted to let her go.
"I promise you," he whispered in her ear, "I'll hurry up. I will do everything to come back quickly. I won't leave you alone any longer. A month at most, okay? Then I'll be here again with you."

Sarada closed her eyes and leaned her head against his chest. She could hear the rhythm of his heartbeat, and it calmed her.
"I'll miss you," she whispered back, her voice full of emotion.

Boruto gave her another tight squeeze before leaning back slightly. He looked at her, raised a hand, and pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead. "And I'll miss you," he said quietly. Then, with a final smile, he let go of her and turned around.
"I have to go now. But we'll see each other again soon, I promise."

Sarada stood still, staring after him as he walked away from her.
Her eyes followed his every movement until he disappeared into the thicket of the forest. She sighed deeply, her heart heavy from the farewell but also filled with a deep, rekindled love.

She stood there for a while, the forest in front of her, the darkness that was slowly falling over Konoha. Her thoughts were entirely on Boruto, on the kiss, on his embrace, on the feelings they had finally shared.

Then, with one last look in the direction Boruto had disappeared, she headed home. She knew he would be back soon. And until then, she would carry him in her heart every day.
