Chapter - 3

Longest day of the school

Lui Shirasagi: "Hey, everyone! I'm still getting used to the cafeteria. What's good here?"

Valt Aoi: "Welcome to the cafeteria life! Today's special is chicken sandwiches, but I'd advise you to check the freshness first."

Rantaro Kiyama: "Yeah, the chicken can be hit or miss. Sometimes it's dry, but other times it's surprisingly good."

Zac the Sunrise: "I usually just stick to the pasta. It's hard to mess that up!"

Lui Shirasagi: laughs "Pasta it is, then! But I'm feeling adventurous today. I think I'll grab a chicken sandwich."

Katana Sakaki: "Go for it! Just don't be shocked if it tastes a little... off."

Shinki Mikuni: "That's the risk we take for cafeteria food! So, what are you looking forward to this week, Lui?"

Lui Shirasagi: "Honestly, I just want to survive the week! I'm still trying to get used to the class schedule and everything."

Valt Aoi: "You'll get the hang of it. Just remember to keep track of assignments. It sneaks up on you fast."

Free de la Hoya: walking over "Hey, has anyone seen Lantern? I haven't spotted him anywhere."

Shu Kurenai: "No, I haven't seen him either. He might be skipping lunch again."

Free de la Hoya: "That's what I was afraid of. I figured he'd show up eventually. He can't keep avoiding the cafeteria forever."

Lui Shirasagi: "He does seem a bit reserved. Should I go check the dorm room? He might just be hiding out there."

Shu Kurenai: "Yeah, if he's not in the cafeteria, he's probably in his room. He likes to keep to himself."

Free de la Hoya: "Good call! Just tell him we're all here if he wants to join us."

Lui Shirasagi: "Will do! I'll grab a few sandwiches to bring back for him, too. He shouldn't be missing out on lunch."

Zac the Sunrise: "That's a great idea! Lantern could use a little nudge to join us."

Lui Shirasagi: "Alright, let's see if this sandwich is worth it." picks up a couple of chicken sandwiches "So, which way is the dorm again?"

Valt Aoi: "Just head straight down the hallway after the cafeteria, and take a right at the end. You can't miss it."

Rantaro Kiyama: "And good luck! He might take a bit to warm up, but it's worth it."

Lui Shirasagi: "Thanks, guys! I'll make sure to knock a little louder if he doesn't respond."

Shu Kurenai: "Yeah, and don't take it personally if he's not in the mood. Just give him time."

Lui Shirasagi: "I get it. I'm patient. He seems like a good guy once you get to know him."

Free de la Hoya: "He is, but just tread lightly. He has his own reasons for being distant."

Lui Shirasagi: "Understood. I'll make sure to approach it carefully. Thanks for the heads-up!"

Zac the Sunrise: "You'll do great! Just be yourself. Lantern needs someone who can understand him."

Lui Shirasagi: "I hope so. Alright, I'm off to the dorm!" waves goodbye and heads towards the dormitory

[Time Skip: In the dorm room]

Lui Shirasagi: knocking on the door "Hey, Lantern! It's me, Lui! Mind if I come in?"
