Gabriela (POV):

Speaking with Aurora had completely turned my quiet evening upside down. Not to mention somehow she managed to discover a secret about me that I had thought I had kept hidden pretty well. Don't get me wrong I wanted to go help Aurora with Vivian, I just wasn't sure if it was the best idea. Since Aurora was having no issues so far, it made more sense to me to just continue the way things are. However she did have a point about a possible magical signature being left behind in Vivian's mind. Not to brag but my abilities to manipulate the mind are rather impressive. Aurora's plan for the most part made sense, however there was one thing holding me back. One thing that I wasn't ready to discuss with anyone.

"Gabs?" A feminine voice called out from the other side of my bedroom door.

"Doors unlocked you can just come in!" I called out from the bathroom.

My mind had been so pre-occupied with the conversation I had with Aurora, that I hadn't realized how long I had been standing in the shower. As I wrapped a towel around myself there was a soft click of my bedroom door followed by quiet footsteps. Based off of what I could hear from the shower it was either Jenny, Storm or Ivy. Only because they were the ones who typically called me Gabs.

"I'll be out in a minute!"

'Fuck!' I cursed internally when I realized I hadn't brought any clothing in with me.

'At least I have my robe in here' I thought as I reached for the fluffy white robe.

Before leaving the bathroom I decided to throw my hair up into a messy bun. A few strands of hair fell out perfectly framing my face. The bedroom air was a lot cooler than the bathroom causing goosebumps to spread all over my skin. I couldn't help but smile to myself when I noticed familiar blue grey locks. Storm and I had become pretty close over the years, she had a fascination with magic. Although she is a werewolf storm had a unique ability to control ice and snow. Not only that but just like the rest of Alex's kids her hair color would change. Typically it cycled through different shades of blues and greys. Where as Ashley, Ryan and Logan would cycle through all colors of the rainbow.

"Hey sorry about that, I didn't realize how long I had been in there for." Storms head snapped up at the sound of my voice making me laugh quietly.

"Fuck you scared me!" Storm yelped practically falling off one of the barstools.

"You know you are in my room right?" I said as I quirked an eyebrow, Storm just rolled her eyes as she situated herself back on the barstool.

"Is there something I can help you with corazoncito?" Storms face brightened slightly at the question.

"Well I was hoping this weekend we could work some more on controlling my powers." I frowned slightly remembering my conversation with Aurora.

"I don't think I'm going to be around for awhile. Aurora contacted me earlier she wants me to come help her with the Vivian situation." I explained to Storm as her face fell clearly disappointed in the situation.

"So you are just leaving then? I thought you were going to help me with my magic?" Tears began to form in Storm's eyes.

"Yeah I have to go help her. The situation is a lot more complicated than we had originally thought. Hopefully it won't take too long but honestly I'm not sure what's going to happen." I wrapped my arms around her trying to comfort her.

"Could we practice tonight then?" Storm said as she dried a tear that had fallen.

"Of course corazoncito" I took her hand and led her to my study.
