Welcome to the Loud House story of Spooktober! Enjoy!

It was a dark night in Royal Woods. Sora walked along the street of Franklin Avenue as he broke the fourth wall.

"Royal Woods, Michigan. Home of many families. But most well known is the Loud family. 2 parents, 11 kids, specifically 1 boy and 10 girls. They do manage to live up to their last name daily. The Loud family have had many shares of adventures. From slice of life times to high stake adventures to even some encounters of the supernatural."

Sora stopped, standing across the street from the Loud House.

"Encounters like a golf ghost at Lori's college, zombies in Great Lakes City, and especially their ancestors in Loch Loud, Scotland. But the one family member that enjoys that kind of stuff the most is Lucy Loud, the goth child and 7th born in the family, always loving things dark and spooky. Witches, ghosts, zombies, vampires, you name it. Little did she know she would get a chance to be a part of that last department... just not the way she thought..."

Lucy Loud was returning home after a late night stroll with her pet bat Fangs.

"Sigh. It's nights like these that are the best Fangs. Dark, eerie, and a very slight chill in the air." Lucy said to her companion.

Fangs squeaked in agreement.

Lucy arrived back at her family home.

In the living room were her siblings; Lincoln was watching ARGGH! on the couch, Luna was strumming her guitar on his left, Luan was sewing her mime shirt, and Lisa was on the floor writing in her notebook.

"Gloomy evening siblings." Lucy greeted. "The night air was perfect for my evening stroll and the trees created quite the spooky shapes."

"Glad you enjoyed it, spooky sis." Luna said without looking at the goth, strumming a note. "Ooh perfect."

"Bye the way little sis, a package arrived for you when you left. Dad set it in your room." Lincoln said.

Lucy was curious. "A package for me? But I didn't order anything." she said.

"Maybe Pop-Pop or Gramps mailed you a gift." Lincoln guessed.

"Or Rocky's giving you some Sugar, Sugar if you know what I mean." Luna teased, making Lucy blush.

"Or it could be something old and gross from Aunt Ruth she doesn't want anymore." Luan guessed.

"I wouldn't put it past that old neanderthal whom I still cannot believe our paternal grandfather is related to." Lisa muttered.

"This is worth investigation." Lucy said as she went upstairs.

In the bedroom Lucy shared with Lynn, the young goth saw a small package laying on her coffin. She went over and examined it before her eyes widened under her bangs from the return address.

"Gasp! It's from Loch Loud! And from Lucille!" Lucy gasped.

Lucy opened up the package and inside was a note from Lucille. Lucy read it as Lucille's voice echoed in her head.

Dearest Cousin Lucy,

I found this in an old trunk in a secret compartment under my bed during my time alive in the 1600's. They're old spells and incantations. They don't seem to work anymore as I, my family, and Angus have tried to see how they work. Since they are no use to me, I decided to give them to you to add to your little macabre and dark arts collection. Be good with them.

Your Scottish Ghost Cousin,

Lucille Loud.

Lucy looked back at the package and saw several scrolls at the bottom. She pulled them out and examined them.
