Lucy: another day at the LAPD
Jackson: tell me about it I just hope today is chill
John: there is never a chill day in the LAPD
Lucy: true but today I'm going to make the best out of it
Jackson: oh yeah and how do you plan to do that
Lucy: well idk I was just saying it but I hope Tim is feeling a little joy in his heart today
John: I doubt that will ever happen but good luck to you both
Lucy and Jackson: thanks

They head off to the locker rooms and change they then head to roll call
Grey: ok listen up today there is nothing big going on but that can always change so keep that in mind Chen and Bradford will ride together Nolan and Harper and Lopez and west alright that's it get out there

Tim: boot grab the war bags and set up the shop I'll meet you out there
Lucy: yes sir
Lucy gets the war bags and heads to the shop she then sets it up then gets in the car
Tim: thanks boot
Lucy: yeah no problem
Tim looks at Lucy and smiles then starts up the shop
Lucy: I'm sorry did the Tim Bradford just smile at me
Tim: I did why are you so surprised
Lucy: what do you mean why am I surprised you are always boot do this and boot so that and what now your smiling at me
Tim: well I just feel good today
Lucy looks at Tim and is confused
Lucy:who are you and what have you done with my TO
Tim laughs I'm in a good mood because I have a date tonight
Lucy is shocked by the words that just came out his mouth
Lucy: oh my gosh really who is it
Tim: that you will not know but just know I have a date tonight and I am very happy about it
Lucy: well that's good I'm happy for you

Tim is cut off by dispatch 7 Adam 15 we have a active shooter at 117 melrose
Tim give Lucy a nod to take it Lucy goes over the walkie

Tim presses the gas and gets to the address as fast as he can they get to the address and hop out the car ready to go
Tim: ready?
Lucy: yeah

They bust in
Tim: LAPD PUT YOUR HANDS UP NOW

Later on after shift Tim and Lucy make it back to the station and Lucy is heading to her car when Tim sees her and runs after her
Tim: hey Chen
Lucy turns around
Lucy: yeah?
Tim: I just wanted to say good job today I know it was scary but you did good
Lucy: thanks Tim and good luck on your date
Tim's looks at Lucy and sighs
Tim: uh about that she canceled on me and said she changed her mind so
Tim puts his head down
Lucy can't help but feel bad for Tim knowing he was so happy about his date today
Lucy: I'm sorry Tim
Tim: yeah thanks but I'm probably just gonna hit the hay so I'll see you tomorrow
Lucy: if you want you can come to my house I was gonna order take out and watch top chef ....
