Chapter 1:

10 am in an apartment in Cavendish Square, London.

Blair is in a dark room, its walls covered in shadows, with a heavy silence hanging in the air. The only light comes from a small window high up on the wall, where faint moonlight seeps in, revealing details of the room.
In the corner sits an old doll, its glassy eyes staring at Blair in a way that unsettles her. Every time she gets closer, the doll begins to stir, slowly turning its head. Blair feels a chill down her spine and tries to escape the room, but the door is tightly locked.
With every attempt to flee, whispers seep from the walls, as though the room itself is speaking to her, murmuring secrets about her father, as if it knows something hidden that life hasn’t told her. The whispers grow louder, turning into disturbing screams, expressing deep sorrow and endless pain.
Then her father appears suddenly, but he is not as she remembers him. His eyes are empty, his face pale, as though drowned in deep sadness. He tries to speak to her, but his words come out garbled, blending with the whispers in the background. Blair tries to approach him, but she finds herself forced to step back, as if an invisible barrier separates her from her father.
At its peak, the doll moves closer to her and whispers unintelligible words in her ear, sparking fear in her heart. The lights intensify, and the darkness begins to close in around her, immersing her in a feeling of helplessness and despair.
Suddenly, Blair woke up from this terrifying nightmare, breathing heavily as tears gathered in her eyes. Her heart was racing, as though the shock was still chasing her from her dark dreams. She sat on the edge of the bed, looking over at her friend Sophia, who was sleeping beside her.
Sensing the movement, Sophia opened her eyes and asked with concern, “Blair, is everything okay?”
“No… I had the nightmare again,” Blair answered in a trembling voice. “It was terrifying, and it gets worse every time.”
Sophia, who had always been supportive, sat up and placed a hand on Blair’s shoulder, saying, “Your father again? Did he say anything this time?”
Blair began to talk about the feeling of fear and loss, and how this nightmare repeated every night. Sophia listened intently, and when Blair finished speaking, Sophia smiled and told her, “I’d like to comfort you, but… I don’t think we have enough time for that.”
When Blair looked at the clock, she felt her heart sink into her throat. The hands showed that the time had passed their usual wake-up time. “Oh God, we’re late!” Blair shouted, panicked.
Sophia, who was still sitting beside her, began to realize, “You need to sneak around; we’re going to be in trouble!”
In an instant, they started moving quickly. Blair jumped out of bed, threw her hair into a messy bun, and began looking for her clothes in the chaos she had left behind. Meanwhile, Sophia headed to the bathroom to brush her teeth quickly.

“Do you have any idea what we’re doing today?” Blair asked in a rushed voice as she tried to find a decent outfit.
“I’m not sure exactly, but Henry asked for a meeting—must be a new operation!” Sophia replied as she suddenly packed her bag.
Quickly dressed, they headed toward the door. “Let’s get out before we get kicked out!” Blair said, grabbing Sophia’s hand.
As they walked out, they exchanged laughter, momentarily forgetting the terror Blair had felt in her nightmare.

Henry Miller company.
When Blair and Sophia arrived at headquarters, the playful excitement they’d shared on the way transformed. A seriousness settled over their expressions. Blair stood upright, her face sharp and stern, while Sophia walked beside her, aware of the sudden shift.
“This is where the real work begins,” Blair said quietly, trying to hide her nerves behind a facade of strength. She thought of the nightmare she’d experienced and decided to leave all feelings of fear behind.
Sensing her friend’s tension, Sophia tried to smile to ease the atmosphere, but she knew it was time for them to take responsibility. “We’re in this together; don’t forget that,” she whispered, placing a hand on Blair’s arm.
When they entered headquarters, they were greeted by a focused, intense environment. Colleagues were hard at work, some speaking in low tones about pending tasks.
The team gathered in the meeting room, where the air was thick with tension and anticipation. Henry, the head of the company, stood before them, his gaze sharp.
“Good morning, everyone,” Henry began, his voice filling the room. “Today we have an important mission. Tonight’s operation will be crucial for the future of the company, and its success depends on it.”
Henry turned to Blair and Sophia, pointing decisively at them. “Blair, Sophia, I need both of you on this operation. I need your commitment and your ability to think fast under pressure.”
Blair nodded, while Sophia put on a confident front despite the nerves creeping in. “Understood, Henry. We’ll give it our all,” Sophia replied steadily.
Then Henry added, “Carlos, I’ll need you to guide Blair and Sophia through the operation. You need to ensure that everything goes according to plan.”
Blair’s face frowned at the mention of Carlos.
Carlos is a well-built man with a charismatic and dignified personality. His thick black hair falls neatly over his forehead, and his sharp, dark eyes glimmer like swords, conveying a sense of determination and seriousness. His tall stature grants him an imposing presence in any room he enters.
As Henry’s right-hand man, Carlos possesses traits of firmness and seriousness. He doesn’t speak much, but he is always present at crucial moments. He prefers his work to speak for him, adding to his aura of mystery.
Despite his competence and Henry’s trust in him, Blair feels uneasy around him. She considers him arrogant and overbearing, making her tense whenever he’s near. However, many in the company trust him and rely on him for handling complex tasks.
Though she felt displeased, Blair suppressed her emotions. Carlos smiled smugly and said, “Don’t worry; I’ll make sure everything goes smoothly. But you both need to follow instructions precisely.”
Blair didn’t hesitate to respond, “We’ll do our best, but I think it’s better if we work together rather than blindly following orders.”
Carlos replied loftily, “If you think you have the solution, I welcome it. But remember, experience plays a significant role here.”
Henry, standing between them, watched the escalating conversation. “Enough,” he said firmly. “The mission’s focus is what matters now. I don’t want any conflicts within the team. We must unite to ensure the plan’s success.”
Blair began to feel a bit frustrated, but she renewed her determination. “We’ll succeed, Henry. I promise we’ll give it our all.”
As the initial meeting wrapped up and the atmosphere started to calm, Henry looked at everyone present and said sternly, “Thank you all for attending. You may leave now, except for Blair, Sophia, and Carlos.”

Everyone exchanged curious glances before leaving the room. Henry shut the door tightly, then turned to face the three, his expression serious.
“You have a very dangerous mission tonight,” Henry began, addressing Blair, Sophia, and Carlos. “This bank heist is unlike any other operation. We need to be precise and professional.”
Sophia stepped forward, studying Henry’s expression carefully. “What about the details?” she asked, her tension mounting.
“We’re targeting the central bank branch,” Henry continued. “We have intel on their security system, but we must be prepared for any emergency. Carlos, you’ll guide Blair and Sophia through the operation and coordinate with the outside team.”
Carlos gave Blair a challenging look, but she ignored it, focusing on Henry. “What are the most dangerous parts of the operation?” Blair asked.
“The critical points are timing the vault opening and monitoring security,” Henry explained, pointing to the map on the wall. “You’ll have a very narrow window to do this. Quick thinking is essential.”
As everyone listened to Henry’s instructions, Sophia felt the pressure intensify. “Do we have any additional information about the bank staff?” she asked.
“Yes, we have information on the shift schedules,” Henry replied, pulling a file from his pocket. “You must be prepared to handle anyone who might get in your way. This requires precise planning and swift execution.”
Henry concluded, “I want to stress the importance of coordination between you. This operation relies on your trust in each other. Now, you can leave and prepare, except for Blair. I’d like a word with her.”
Sophia and Carlos left the room, leaving Blair alone with Henry. Blair looked at Henry, feeling slightly tense.
Henry is an older man with an air of authority that commands respect. His strong features and deep-set wrinkles speak to his long experience, and his dark eyes reflect a sharp intellect and wisdom, making him both respected and feared.
He considers Blair like a daughter, giving her special attention and caring for her as a father would. When he speaks to her, a hint of warmth appears in his expression, and he often reminds her that he was her father’s friend and that her father had asked him to watch over her. This close bond provides Blair with a sense of security, making Henry feel like an uncle in a world full of challenges.
However, there’s a mystery surrounding Henry that piques Blair’s curiosity. At times, she senses he harbors deep secrets, unsure of what lies behind his kind smile and encouraging words. This duality between his warmth and mystery leaves Blair feeling conflicted; she wants to trust him, yet she wonders what he might be hiding from everyone.
Despite this, the mutual feelings of warmth and respect remain. Blair finds in Henry a source of support and trust, knowing there’s always someone who cares for her, even if some mysteries linger around him.
“How are you, Blair?” Henry asked in a less formal tone, his eyes holding a hint of concern that put Blair at ease.
“I’m fine, I think,” Blair replied, trying to appear confident despite the nightmare that still haunted her thoughts. “But I feel nervous about the operation.”
“That’s natural,” Henry said. “The pressure is building, but I know you’re strong and capable of handling this. You have remarkable skills, and I trust you’ll do a great job tonight.”
Blair felt reassured by Henry’s words. “Thank you; I needed that. I’ll do my best.”
“Remember, if you need any help, don’t hesitate to tell me. I’m like your uncle,” Henry added, then turned toward the door. “Now, go get ready. I’ll see you later.”
As Blair left the room, her excitement mingled with anxiety, but she was determined to overcome every obstacle and achieve success in the operation.
After everyone had left the meeting, the office atmosphere began to calm slightly, but soon voices rose in one corner, catching Blair’s attention. Two men were arguing fiercely, exchanging insults and threats, creating an air of chaos and confusion.
Carlos noticed this and stepped steadily toward the scene, his eyes flashing with seriousness. “Enough!” he shouted loudly, making the two men stop fighting for a moment. “What’s going on here? This is a workplace, not a wrestling ring.”
One of the men, who looked furious, replied, “This guy accuses me of negligence, even though he was supposed to be protecting the goods!” while the other yelled, “All you do is complain! I’m sick of your behavior!”
As the fight continued, Carlos stepped closer, pulled his weapon from his pocket, and aimed it at the first man’s head. “You should never depend on anyone else, even if they’re in the same operation. Work as if you’re the last person on earth.” Then, he pulled the trigger.
The other man stepped back slightly, but the tension was still visible on his face. Carlos turned to him, aiming the gun at him, and said, “You shouldn’t have let your fight escalate to this point.” He pulled the trigger again, displaying his cold and commanding nature.
Returning home, Blair felt her heartbeat quicken slightly, despite the familiarity she’d gained with working in the shadows and through glowing screens. For three years, she’d immersed herself in this world, watching, listening, and accessing places others tried to make inaccessible. But today, she was preparing for a new operation that would require all her skill and composure.
Blair Smith is a young British woman of mysterious beauty and quiet allure. She has fair skin, shoulder-length black hair, and sharp blue eyes that sparkle with cunning and intelligence, lending her a cold, cautious demeanor. Her slender, agile physique gives her an elegant appearance despite the simplicity of her dark, understated clothing, which makes it easy for her to move unnoticed.

Her personality is as complex as her childhood, which left a deep mark on her. She’s silent, cautious, and doesn’t tend to open up to others. Blair is highly analytical, with a remarkable ability to adapt to her surroundings and stay calm under pressure. She has developed an inner resilience that drives her to hold firmly to her beliefs, ignoring anything that might stand in her way.

11PM, London streets.
In the late hours of the night, a quiet stillness enveloped a narrow street in London, lined with old buildings made of aged brick that tell stories from decades past. Darkness covered the area, except for the faint yellow lights emanating from the scattered street lamps, casting pale shadows on the wet sidewalks after a light rain.
Blair and Carlos moved in sync, cautiously crossing the silent street. The only sounds were the echoes of their footsteps and their soft breaths. The air was cold, carrying the scent of rain mixed with that of the earth and damp bricks, adding a charming and tranquil atmosphere to the place. The closed windows and the shop doors lined along the street gave it a nearly deserted feel, as if they were walking through a sleeping city.
This calmness was perfectly suited for their purpose, as they moved with careful confidence toward the operation site, avoiding attracting attention and taking advantage of the street’s silence and the darkness of the night.
Blair appeared in her usual elegant and bold style, wearing a shiny black leather outfit that accentuated her slender, agile figure and height. Her long black hair fell straight, partially covering her face and adding an aura of mystery. She carried a small bag and wore black high-heeled shoes that enhanced her height and gave her a strong, unwavering stance. Her presence was powerful and striking, reflecting a self-assured and determined personality, ready to face any challenge.
On the other side was Carlos. He was wearing a tight black shirt that showcased his strong muscles and sturdy black boots, along with black clothing equipped with various tools like a bag and a pocket carrying field equipment.
In that silent, calm street, everything seemed completely still, except for the sound of Blair’s high heels ringing through the corridors. Her footsteps echoed clearly in the quiet space, adding an unusual character to the charged atmosphere. Carlos, preparing with great focus for the operation that required precision and attention, couldn’t help but smile quietly.
He turned to Blair and asked her in a tone that combined seriousness and teasing, “Blair, why the high heels? We’re on a mission, not a fashion show. Those heels aren’t comfortable or practical!”
Blair looked at him with a mocking expression and replied lightly, “I hope you focus on your job and leave me to mine!”
Carlos chuckled softly, despite the pressure of the task, and added, “I just said that so you don’t twist your ankle later and I have to carry you…”
Blair responded confidently, with a slightly angry tone, “You talk as if I’m wearing them for the first time!” She then stood up, turned toward him, and said, “And even if I do twist my ankle, don’t think about touching me. I’d rather be caught by them than let you touch me.”
Carlos let out a short laugh, raising an eyebrow in a teasing manner, “Oh Blair, always so stubborn. But don’t worry, I wasn’t thinking of touching you. But let’s be honest, in the end, you’ll need me to save you.”
Blair narrowed her eyes cautiously, standing firm in front of him, “Need you? In your dreams, Carlos. If you were the last person on Earth, I’d find my own way.”
Carlos, enjoying riling her up, continued in a mocking tone, “Why all this sensitivity? I think you’re just angry because I’ve been right more than once.”
Blair’s eyes flared with suppressed anger as she snapped back, “Right? About what? About constantly annoying me? About your endless stupid comments?”
Carlos stepped closer, directing his words in a more mocking tone, “I’m just trying to help you, genius. If you’re going to risk your life in an operation that requires focus, maybe wearing something more… practical would be a good idea.”
Blair, on the verge of exploding, took a deep breath and tried to regain her composure, saying in a low voice filled with hatred, “Keep that point to yourself,” and continued on her way.
Carlos flashed a broad smile and continued on his path as well.

At Victor Bank.
The bank heist had begun and was proceeding beyond expectations, with all its complex details and the professionalism of the team. Blair was at the forefront, her mind racing as she monitored the security cameras and directed Carlos through the earpiece. With her extensive experience, she moved between the screens as a musician plays their instrument. Every step was calculated, every decision carefully considered.
Carlos, on the ground, executed orders skillfully, advancing inside the bank with deliberate and precise steps. His physical strength and high fitness level allowed him to move quickly and lightly, managing the situation and guiding other team members in carrying out sensitive tasks. There was no room for error, and he knew full well that any hesitation could cost them dearly. But he completely trusted Blair, despite their ongoing disagreements, because she was the best in the field.
Meanwhile, Sophia played a vital role from her hidden position in one of the opposite buildings. Concealed in the shadows inside an empty room, her fingers raced over the keyboard as she attempted to breach the bank’s security systems. With her hair tied back and her eyes ablaze with focus, Sophia managed to disable the security alarms and shut down electronic police outlets that could detect the operation.
“The security system in the southern section has been disabled. You have a ten-minute window,” Sophia said over the earpiece while still working on disabling other layers of protection.
“Ten minutes? That’s enough time,” Blair replied as she monitored the situation from inside the operations van.

Carlos,
moving cautiously within the bank, sensed something unusual in the atmosphere. Everything was going smoothly, perhaps too smoothly. The guards were in their expected positions, the security systems had been easily disabled thanks to Sophia, and even the customers in the bank were oblivious to anything amiss. Everything seemed perfect, but that feeling inside him began to gradually intensify, as if everything had been meticulously arranged for them, as if they were not the ones orchestrating the operation but rather part of a larger plan.
He looked around, his eyes scanning the area sharply. There was something unsettling, something suggesting that this could all be a well-laid trap. “Blair?” he called over the earpiece, his voice calm but filled with concern, yet he received no response.
