As soon as Netflix was open on Hoseok's laptop, the two looked through the endless amount of choices between movies and tv shows that there was to offer. Things they had watched, things they wanted to watch. So many options. Looking through the options that they had, Hyungwon had made the choice of what they would watch.

"Let's watch The Purge again," he said, "Its been a while since we watched that." Without argument, Hoseok clicked play and the movie played. He remembered the first time that they had watched the movie. Hyungwon was terrified when they had first watched it together, even though in the end, he grew to love it. He wasn't going to lie, Hoseok loved it too. So, he didn't mind watching it again. He would watch it over and over again with his boyfriend if it meant they could spend every day with his partner instead of the responsibilities of being an idol. As much as he wanted it like that, he knew it couldn't be like that. Especially now with the rumours going around, in which his mind was still on. Having read what the rumours contained, he couldn't focus on the movie all that much. He knew that those rumours weren't true, yet it still scared him that some people would believe that they were true.

In an attempt to distract himself from thinking about the rumours, Hoseok ran his hand through the younger's hair and occasionally twirled strains around his fingers. He liked doing so, Hyungwon's hair was always so soft. Even whenever it had been dyed, it was soft. Though, it didn't seem to be stopping his mind from thinking about it. What if fans ended up turning against him? What if his own group mates, minus Hyungwon, turned their backs on him? What if the Starship legal team didn't try hard enough to prove the rumours wrong? What if the entire thing got out of hand and he wouldn't be redeemable? Everything that he feared now because of the rumours.

"Babe, are you ok?" Hyungwon asked, sitting up a little bit to face his boyfriend a bit better. He paused the movie as he sat up.

"Yeah," Hoseok lied, "Why do you ask?"

"Because," the younger replied, "You seem a little out of it. Are you sure you're doing ok? You know you can tell me anything." Hoseok thought about it for a minute. On one hand, he didn't want to boil up his emotions and thoughts. But, on the other hand, he didn't want to burden his boyfriend with them either.

"You're thinking about the rumours," he said, "Aren't you? Don't lie to me, Seokie." With that little nickname, Hoseok knew that he couldn't lie to his boyfriend.

"Yeah, I am," he replied, "It's just I'm hoping that it would turn out ok. I don't want this to be the thing that ends my contract with Starship. I rather it be because it's been a certain number of years or its on my own terms. Not because of some rumours that aren't true."

"I'm sure," Hyungwon said, "Shidae and the legal team will do everything in their power to make sure that these rumours get shut down before they get out of hand." He placed a hand on his partner's cheek and a little kiss on his nose.

"No matter what happens," he continued, "I will be by your side and I am sure the other guys will be too. As for the fans, I'm sure they'll look through the rumours and will understand that it is all lies. Don't worry about it too much. I don't like seeing your pretty face worrying over something like this. Just relax and leave it to the legal team to prove your innocence. Ok?" Just knowing that the younger had his back was enough to get Hoseok to smile.

"What would I do without you?" he asked.

"Nothing," the younger joked, "You wouldn't survive." Hoseok scrunched up his nose a little as he laughed. He placed a little kiss on his boyfriend's nose. With that, Hyungwon placed his head in the crook of Hoseok's neck and pressed play. The movie continued from where it had been paused. Hoseok continued to run his hand through his boyfriend's hair, but this time just because he wanted to instead of overthinking. He did hope that the rumours would get sorted out before it got out of hand. Though, like his boyfriend had said, he had people behind him and there was no doubt that he had a good support system behind him. It was just a matter of sorting it out. He wanted to check his phone to see how far the rumours had spread. Knowing the internet, it wouldn't be surprising if it had spread like wildfire by now. Despite the want to check his phone, he didn't go through with it and instead, just focused on the movie and playing with his partner's hair. Playing with his boyfriend's hair and watching a movie, even after the little talk that they had, he felt relaxed enough to enjoy the rest of the day.

He just hoped that the rest of the day goes smoothly. He didn't want to think about it much, especially after what Hyungwon had just told him. The movie went by quickly and before they knew it, it was over. As the credits began to roll on the screen, the two of them began to stretch their arms and legs. A sudden knock stopped them stretching, They stood up, though Hoseok was the one to walk over to the door and open it. Shidae stood on the other side of it and from the look of his face, things weren't looking good.

"What's going on?" Hoseok asked. Hyungwon had come up behind his boyfriend as the question was asked.

"I don't know if you've seen anything online yet," Shidae said, "But, a lot of monbebes have seen the rumours by now and it is spreading like wildfire. Everyone is questioning if it is true or not and they can't tell really. We're still working on it but I thought to let you know that it is going around."

"This is bad," Hyungwon replied, "Isn't it?"

"Like I said," Shidae responded, "We are still working on it. The ceo is working on a statement to release to the public. Which reminds me, the ceo told me to tell you that if you want to write a statement of your own, you can. If you do decide to write a statement, it will be released at the same time as the company's statement. But it is up to you if you want to make one or not. Let me know if you do make one and we can figure out when to make them public." Hoseok and Hyungwon gave Shidae a little nod and he left the way that he came. Hoseok closed the door and turned to face his boyfriend.

"What do I do?" he asked, "I don't know what I should do."

"You don't have to decide right now," the younger answered, "You can take the rest of the day to think about it and come to a decision later today or early tomorrow. That way, you have time to come to a decision. You don't need to rush yourself and make a hasty one. I'm sure the fans can wait for a little bit. It's just as new to you as it is to them and they'll understand why it's taken you sometime to come to a decision. They always understand." It was a big decision to make and Hoseok knew it. Sure, the monbebes would understand, but he was afraid that his silence would make him seem guilty. But at the same time, he was afraid that if he made a statement too soon, he would also seem guilty. Either way, he would seem guilty, though he knew he wasn't guilty. Hyungwon is right though. He didn't have to decide now and he could take the day to think about it.

"Yeah," Hoseok said, "I'll take the day to think about it and maybe make a decision tomorrow."

"Good idea," Hyungwon replied, "I'll be by your side, no matter what you decide." The older gave a little smile, though Hyungwon knew it wasn't the most genuine one. Considering the circumstances, he couldn't blame his boyfriend. If he was in that position, he would have done the same.
