"Don't you want me like I want you, baby? Don't you need me like I need you now? Sleep tomorrow, but tonight, go crazy"

"Come on, Y/n, loosen up a little bit, yeah?" Your bestfriend begged you to play his favorite drinking game with him, but you really didn't feel like drinking alcohol today. You looked around the group of friends you were hanging out with.

You were sitting down in one of your friend's living room, alongside many people who sat in a circle on the floor.

At first you guys were just messing around, playing board games and goofing off. But then all the sudden, drinking was mentioned and everyone went crazy.

Usually you weren't so opposed to drinking but tonight was different. When you got drunk, you talked a lot. And by a lot, you definitely said a lot of things you probably shouldn't have ever said.

But you had no secrets to hide tonight, right?

Wrong.

"It's okay, if Y/n doesn't want to, we can do something else." C/n reassured you, and defended your decision. They didn't really seem like they wanted to drink that much anyways. However, you couldn't speak for the rest of the group.

All eyes were on you as you made a decision. You took a deep breath, "Alright, let's play," and the group cheered. Your friend grabbed glasses and alcohol from their house and sat back down.

"We're playing apateu!" she cheered, "It's my favorite game!"

Some people cocked their heads to the side in confusion. Your bestfriend chuckled slightly at this, "don't worry, it's my favorite drinking game too, I'll explain the rules," he told the rest of group.

You listened closely to the rules. Your bestfriend cleared his throat, "So basically, everyone here is gonna chant apateu while waving their hands over each other like this," he demonstrated by waving his hands horizontally over each other, alternating which hand went over the other.

"Then we do that three times before we all put our hands in the center." Everybody put their hands in the center, making a stack of hands. "Then someone shouts out a number, like say, 5!"

"Now we continue to stack our hands, counting every time til we reach that number. Move from the bottom hand up!" He finished explaining. You all stacked your hands on top of each other, and guess who the lucky person at the top was?

"Y/n! You have to drink up!" Your bestfriend handed you a glass and everyone laughed at you since you were the most against this idea.

You chuckled, "Alright, alright just one thing-" but everyone in the group protested and thought you weren't gonna do it.

"You guys suck," you laughed at their antics and took a shot. You guys continued to do this for a while, and boy were some people sad drunks.

"And then- And then I ran it over!" You friend was crying, "It was so sad! The cupcake looked so good too! But then it was all smashed!" She couldn't stop sobbing about how she ran over a cupcake, and your friends tried comforting her.

In the midst of all of this, you got up to go check how you looked in the bathroom. You were expecting a jumpscare, but in all honesty, you still looked good.

You fixed a few strands of your head that were messed up due to how hard you were laughing, but other than that, everything was good. You didn't even spill your big secret yet. The secret that would ruin your relationship with C/n.

You heard someone yawn and turned your head to find the one and only C/n. You smiled at them as they rubbed their eyes tiredly. They look up and they smiled back, which slightly melted your heart at the sight of them.

You were sitting on the counter next to the bathroom sink as C/n approached you. They wrapped their arms around you and rested their head against your shoulder. "Are you tired?" you asked them softly.

"Yeah..." they trailed off.

You just sat there, hugging them back while playing with their hair.

"Y/n?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you."

"What?"

"I think I'm in love with you,"

You were shocked by the sudden confession. Were they being serious? They lifted their head to lock eyes with you.

"C/n...."

"I love you too," you smiled fondly. There, the secret was out. You wouldn't have to worry anymore for the rest of the night.

C/n's face lit up, but you could still see how visibly tired they were. You chuckled, pulling them off of you and hopping down from the counter. "Come on, let's get you home so you can sleep," you tugged on their hand to lead them out.
