My Vampire Partner

I Met You..

{1st POV}

As I was walking alongside the frozen river, the wind was blowing coldly against my skin. It was freezing outside even if I was already wearing a coat…..

I walked towards the café that was open all day, all throughout the week … I then entered the café as the employee greeted me…

“How have you been? You haven't been buying your favorite coffee here, have you been busy these past few weeks?” The employee said to me,

“Yeah I was pretty busy these past few weeks… especially since I'm in college now…” I said with a chuckle at the end of my sentence

“Mhm… I feel how hard it is to be in college… I remember when I was in my 2nd year that I almost dropped out from college due to stress…” he said to me with a slight laugh.

I look up at him wide eyed, “Really? I didn't know you almost dropped out of college..” I said in shock.

He chuckled at my reaction “You know I wonder why you don't have a lover yet… Especially if you have that beautiful and cute face” he chuckled

My face turned red as I heard the complement “W-what!? Ehh.. Well.. I-if it was a girl I wouldn't hesitate to reject,” I started, “...but would rather be their friend…It's not because I don't like them.. It's because I don't like girls at all. like literally.. I don't have feelings for girls…” I said before looking out the window of the café, noticing snow starting to fall.

“Hey” he said as he sat beside me with a hand on my shoulder... “You know, you shouldn't be upset that there isn't anybody that would find you cute or even beautiful. But trust me, it's enough that someone will soon find their path towards you.. And maybe even steal your heart and replace it with their own love?” He chuckled to me.

I chuckled, “Hah.! Don't be so Corny…” I then looked out of the window… “oh.. it's snowing heavily outside… I should probably be going now…” I stand up from my seat before taking out 2 dollars  and put it down on the table

“Alright. Be careful walking home! I've heard there are vampires roaming around these days now…” He said as he looked at me

I paused and looked back “Vampires? They aren't real… They are just Fantasy and don't even exist, you're just overreacting…” I said as i grabbed my coat

“Oh come on! I'm telling the truth, what if something happened to you and you couldn't yell for help! You know I'm worried about you!” He said as he stood up and grabbed my wrist.

“I know your worried about me, but I can take care of myself” I said before gently pushing away his hand from my wrist

“Alright fine.. if you really can protect yourself, then go back home and call me if you arrive safely so I can at least calm down and know you're alright!” He said as he crossed his arms

I chuckled, opening the café door “Yeah, I'll call you later, Jung Hyung” before I left the café and started walking back home

“Stubborn kid” Jung muttered as he walked towards the front door to lock it for closing time…

12 : 30 am

While I was walking back home, I heard noises from the alleyway. I was about to pass by, but I couldn't stop my curiosity and took a small peek, but then… my eyes widened as I saw a tall man.. he had medium black hair with a red streak underneath…. With a muscular frame too...

And I was too scared to even move… as the man turned around and saw me… I immediately stumbled down and got up as fast as I could so I would be able to run away, trying not to get caught…… before he suddenly appeared in right front of me in a blink of an eye as I hit him and almost fell, but he gently caught me….
