For context: Jade IS British. Born and raised in the Isles, she's just playing a persona as mentioned.
It will stick a bit to what happened irl, though changes will be made as Jade's an OC and not real. (Also THIS IS NOT REAL, don't take it a biography or anything like that. PLEASE)
Also, the book touches VERY tough and mature topics, so don't read if anything related to drugs, alcohol, sex, abuse, etc... triggers you. The story will not be extremely explicit, but the topics will be mentioned and are part of the plot.
