"Aria... Aria Rodriguez" The tall man called from his desk; I knocked three times before finally walking in "Yes... T-that's me..." His cold eyes looked at me up and down "Please, take a sit"

My whole body was sweaty, cheeks flushed, I was so nervous, if I don't get the job I'm going to be really screwed.

"So, I see here that you graduated two months ago... Musical production? Interesting" He carefully examined my curriculum and titles; I was confident but being rejected so many times made me doubt myself.

"This couple of papers don't say anything, you have no experience in this field, I can't hire someone like you, it wouldn't be fair for people with real potential" Real potential? That was kinda rude, be nice Aria, you need the job "Is there any way I can get the job, Sir?" He let a small laugh come out of his mouth in a mocking tone "You getting the job? Yeah sure, you know... I like your way of thinking, but no... there's no place for newbies in the big music industry"

What is that supposed to mean? No one is born perfect, just because I just graduated doesn't mean I can't do it well "I understand Sir"

I rushed out of the room, I was so embarrassed, how can he conclude that I'm not good enough by just knowing I graduated two months ago? "Wow she didn't even take two minutes inside there; how bad can someone be to get rejected so fast?" Is she talking about me? I can't believe she's t- "Hey!" Me? "Yes, you come here" Is she talking to me

"Are you talking to me?" this is embarrassing "Who else? What did he say to you" She must work here... she looks like she knows him well. She laughed... Why is she laughing? Do I have something on my face? "You must be pretty bad to get rejected so quickly" Okay that's enough, why are people in here so rude?

Calm down Aria, breathe in, breathe out.

"I gotta go now Ms." This is awkward, everyone is looking at me now "Where are you going? I'm not done talking" Right, I'm dumb, how couldn't I notice that?

"I'm sorry, but I have more important stuff to do, have a nice day"

Run Aria!

I got in my car, and started the engine. I get a call... Mom, perfect, just in time.

"Hi mom"

"Aria, dear... How was the interview"

"Well... better than any other interview I've had, but they still didn't accept me" Oh no... here it comes.

"Again!? Aria what's wrong with you!? Your dad and I didn't waste so much money on that stupid career for nothing! We told you to choose something that would be helpful, not music!"

"Mom I-"

"I'll tell your dad! You better get somewhere to spend the night by tomorrow! We can't still take care of you! It was your decision to choose such a useless career!"

Hang up Aria!

"Mom, I gotta go"

Ugh! Why can't I do something right for once!?

Yes! I'm crying! Tears run down my face! I'm tired, sick of myself, I can't do anything without messing it up!

Sun Hee... yeah... I should go with her now, that's the best.

I start driving, something feels out of place, me... I'm the not part of this puzzle.

Failure.

That's what I am.

The worst person to ever exist in this E-

CRASH!

Red... Blue... Red... Blue...

Are those screams? Ugh! My head hurts so bad. Open your eyes Aria... open your them... open... o-
