In the middle of the desert, Max was putting the finishing touches on a makeshift training ground. Ben and Paku stood at the start of it waiting for him to finish. Once he tied the last soda can he turned to the two.
Max:"You two ready?"
They both nodded and transformed. Ben becoming Diamond Head and Paku becoming Wukong.

Diamond Head:"Oh yeah!"
Wukong:"(beats his chest while screeching.)"
Max:"Remember to think out there, Ben. Don't just try to muscle it. Might isn't always right."
Diamond Head:"I know, but it's always fun ( turns arms to spikes)"
Wukong:"Always fun until someone cries."
Max pulled a lever, launching multiple cans at them. Wukong moved first and dashed forward, smaking cans away, trapping them in web, or swinging around to evade them. Max pulled another lever, releasing boards and cactus for target practice. Ben immediately shot them with his shards, slicing them to pieces.
They continued training with Paku now also focusing on the target practice with his webs while simultaneously dealing with the flying cans. Ben however, began showing off.
Gwen, who was sat at a chair applying sunscreen, scoffed at Ben.
Gwen:"Tch, show off."
Max:"Focus, Ben. Think."
Diamond Head:"Don't worry, grandpa."
He dodges some more cans, shooting them down in the process. He was so distracted, he didn't notice a wheel swinging towards him. The wheel slammed into him, sending him in the air as his shards were shot randomly.
Max ducked for cover. Gwen screamed in panic as some of the shards flew towards her. Before they could hit, a web took hold of her and pulled her up as the shards hit the chair and sunscreen bottle.
Up on the RV Paku held onto Gwen as he sent Ben a glare.
