•Y/n pov•

At lunch time i was in the cafeteria standing there holding my plate waiting for fadi, he told me he would be waiting for me with his friends. Then far back i saw him waving to me «hey y/n over here! »

I smile to him as i walk over to them. « here you are, guys let me introduce you to y/n she's the new girl. Y/n this is chen my best friend » I glanced at chen and nodded to him as greeting .« this is jacobs and next to him is james »

« pleasure to meet you guys »i said glancingat them with a smile .« don't worry there is other girls they're just not here yet » Said fadi trying to comfort me from the fact that im going to with boys i really don't want to...

« oh thanks for saving me a spot. Seriously you won't believe who we saw ».Said a girl with black long hair with a her brunette friend i guess. « Who? » james questioned. the brunette girl said « Lloyd garmadon and his crew of losers what if we mess with them a bit !!! ».Chen smile «good idea we haven't done anything in a while »

«And who is she ?... » Said the that one girl with the long black hair looking at me up and down

« I don't know, who are you? »The brunette was also asking
«it's y/n fadi's friend » says with a charming smile
. The brunette turned to me . «Hi, I'm Stacy, and this is Lila.». Lila kept staring at me strangely. I sat down next to Fadi.

« Look who's here » Jacobs said with a smile. I turned around and saw Lloyd, the guy from earlier... are they friends?. « Is he your friend? » I asked to confirm. But Lila looked at me as if I had killed her mother. « Friend?! He's Lord Garmadon's son! »

I looked at her, confused « Garmadon? Who's that? » I asked, and Chen replied, « Lord Garmadon is the guy who wanted to conquer Ninjago. »

Fadi spoke up, « But Garmadon turned into a good person, right? Didn't he? » He is kind but he doesn't want to lose his friendship with Chen, so he pretended to joke about it.

« Once evil, always seen as a monster » Stacy said with a disgusted tone. Everyone got up and headed toward the table where Lloyd was sitting. Fadi and I remained seated.

« What are they going to do? » I asked Fadi, who looked at me sadly. « Like every time, they're going to harass him... » I was shocked. They're bullying him just because of his father's past? The world is cruel..."

•Lloyd pov•

I was sitting at the table with my friends, chatting and laughing. Suddenly

I saw Chen and his friends approaching me... I know what's about to happen... but I've gotten used to it; it's become a routine. "Hey Garmadon," Chen said, looking me up and down.

Kai spoke up, "What's your problem, Chen?" he asked protectively. "None of your business, man, we're just here for our dear friend Lloyd," James said sarcastically... Suddenly

Chen took my tray and dumped it on me. My sweater was completely stained. The girls had their phones out and recorded everything... heh...

I looked at my friends, signaling them not to react, because it looked like they were ready to kill, especially Kai and Nya.

I glanced over at Y/n's table, and she was looking at me with sadness, while everyone else in the cafeteria, except my friends, Y/n, and Fadi, was laughing.

•Y/n pov•

I watched in horror and looked over at Fadi. "That's horrible!" I said, completely shocked. "I know..." he replied in a cold tone without even looking at me. He was disappointed in his best friend.

I got up to leave the cafeteria. "I'm going to the bathroom," I said, rushing out.

I went into the girls' bathroom, sat down, and took out a cigarette to calm myself.

After I finished smoking, I stepped out to get rid of the smell.

I saw a girl with brown skin and long brown braids, putting on lip gloss.

I approached her to ask for some perfume to mask the smell. "Um, hi?" I said timidly. She turned around and gave me a friendly smile, "Hi." She seemed nice. "Do you have any perfume?" I asked her politely.

She opened her bag and handed me a perfume bottle, "Here." I took it and sprayed it on. "Thank you, that's really kind..." She looked at me and seemed to pick up on something... "Did you smoke?" she asked, curious.

I looked at her, a bit embarrassed. "Uh... yeah?" I was nervous. "It's not good for you..." she said kindly. She was really nice.

"I'm Gabi, and you?" she asked. I looked at her and smiled, "Y/n, nice to meet you." I was sure she wasn't like Chen and his friends.

so I mustered the courage to ask, "Could we be friends?" I was scared she might say no. "Sure, why not?" She pulled a mint out of her bag, "Here, this will get rid of the cigarette smell." I looked at her gratefully, knowing smoking was forbidden in the school. "Thanks."
