Coco's POV
It's early in the morning and there's big commotion outside. Well not that early. It's just 6. It's light though. I can't see what it is because the curtains are shut on the window. I wonder if I'm the only one awake in my cabin? I feel like if I ask who's awake someone will get woken up. So I whispered it. "Anyone else awake?" "Yes." Replied the whole cabin. "What is going on out there?" Cindy asked half asleep. "Who even knows? All I hear is voices." Cloud said. "Should we try to go back to sleep?" Daisy asked. "No way. I'm checking what's going on." Delilah got down from her bunk and walked over the the window. She drew the curtains. She peered outside. "Just some boys out there." Delilah said. Then Emerald got up to look. "They look like they're arguing." Emerald added. Oh great - an argument keeping us all up. "Which boys?" Esmeralda asked. "Like Bailey, Cosmo, Elton, some others. They're not all from DSP though." Emerald said. Bailey? Bailey's seriously out there keeping me up? That little- ugh. I just feel like going out there and telling them all to shut up and go back to bed. I should do that to be honest. "Oh oh wait! They look like they're getting physical." Delilah suddenly said. That's when we all got up and peered out of the window. Bailey, Cosmo, Dusty, Elton, Mike, etc were all out there arguing with some grey cat. Bailey and him were starting to do little start pushes to each other. "We've got to stop this before it turns into an issue." Flossie says. "You're right! Let's all go out there!" Softie said. We barged out of our door yelling stop at them while running towards them. "STOP! STOP! BAILEY, NO! STOP!" We were all shouting. All their attentions came to us. "What in your right mind are you all even doing?!" I demanded to know. "Go back to sleep and mind your own business, Coco." Bailey said to me, he didn't sound that happy. I wasn't taking it though. "Gee someone's mad." The grey cat stirred. "Oh would you just shut-" Bailey started to go at him. "BAILEY NO!" Cindy screamed at him and picked him up by his collar. The grey cat was laughing as fury filled Bailey's eyes. "You go back to bed." Cloud said to him. "That means all of you, not just Bailey. "Don't worry your little heads, this is a problem between the boys." Cosmo said. "Who said girls can't join? Shouldn't limit things to boys now should you?" The grey cat said to Cosmo. "You really can't help yourself now can you?" Dusty said to him. "You can all go back to bed or we're getting the teachers. Got it?" Daisy said. "Stay out of it, would you? This is all none of your business." Cosmo said. "Actually it is. You all woke us up. Have some respect it's 6 in the morning!" Delilah snapped. "Well I'm going back to bed. Who's coming with me?" Elton said. Stewart, James and Leo joined him. Eventually so did Mike. The 5 of them trailed back off to their cabins. "Bailey. Your turn." I said to him. He gave one look at the grey cat. "Simba. You started this all." Simba looked pleased with himself. "Not my fault you fed into my teasing trait. Go back to sleep, take your friend's advice." Bailey rolled his eyes at Simba. "She's not my friend. I just live with her. She's no better than you." Cindy let him go and he walked off with the rest to their cabins but Simba stayed. "That's means you too, duh!" Emerald said to him. "The saying's ladies first i thought?" He said. "Yeah but the boys left first. You're the only one left, you're obviously less mature than them." Esmeralda said. Simba got down from the rock he was on. "Who am I kidding? I better go. See ya." He walked off. We went back to our cabin. "Gosh Simba must've been causing trouble out there!" Flossie said. "It couldn't possibly be completely his fault. Reckon the boys just got all raged inside. Couldn't help themselves." Softie said. "Simba's a Tom. It's pretty obvious." Teddy said. "You reckon Simba's a Tomcat?" Cindy asked Teddy. She nodded, she wasn't wrong. Traits are there to be honest. Tomcats are a cat that starts trouble. Fights, picks on other male cats. But a flirt to the females. Overall, your typical male street cat. We sat up until breakfast discussing Simba and what happened out there. Breakfast had the normal things and the special food and drink today is bacon and coffee. When I went up I got toast with butter, some bacon and a glass of milk. Toast was so crispy! And so was the bacon. Breakfast was good! I kept thinking about Bailey and Simba. I didn't like the look in Bailey's eye. I know I won't be able to talk sense into him. But I know who can. Gypsy. He'll listen to Gypsy, I know he will. After breakfast I walked over to Gypsy. "Hey Gypsy!" I greeted her. "Oh hi Coco!" Alright I should probably say what happened. "Would you be so kind and do a favor for me?" I asked her as nice as possible. "Depends. What's the favor?" She asked me. "Well you see, this morning my whole cabin woke up. Because there was a fight outside. Lots of cats out there. Including Bailey." "Fight? As in physical fight?" She asked again. "No, argument but almost if my cabin and I didn't intervene. Most of them were from DSP except for a cat named Simba, he's a tomcat. Bailey hates him and I think he wants to get back at him. Tell him to stay away from him." Gypsy looked at me with a blank expression. "I can do that." She smiled. "Thanks!" I called out to her as she went to her cabin. "I have more information on Simba!" Cloud announced while we were brushing our teeth. "What?" I said muffled with toothpaste in my mouth. "Simba's from St. Creeks. His best friend is Ollie, a dog who Frankie lives with!" I was hoping for a backstory, not personal life details. Now I know his school at least. There was a knock on the door. Probably Miss Abby. "I'll get it!" Daisy called out. She opened the door, we all looked out of the bathroom. Storm was there. Why was Storm there? Storm's my neighbor who goes to Little Red. "Oh hey Storm!" Daisy greeted him. "Hey daisy, mind if I chat to you later?" "Yeah sure." They smiled at each other and she closed the door. "You and Storm still together, huh?" Delilah asked her. "Of course we are! Why wouldn't we be?" Daisy said to her. "Wait Daisy, you have a boyfriend?" Emerald asked her. "Hm yeah! Ever since term 4 last year." But the next knock had to be Miss Abby. "I can get it this time!" Esmerelda called out. She opened the door to Miss Abby, we were all pretty much ready. "You guys ready for a bike ride?" Miss Abby asked. We all went outside and followed Miss Abby to the bike shed. She brought out the bikes and fitted us on. She fitted our helmets too. She had us put on neon vests as well. She then got on hers and told us all to follow her. She started pedaling on the flat ground which was dirt. We all followed her in single file. I was in third position. Not like to mattered or anything, I'm just saying. We rode around the whole camp which was really big and felt long. "Are we going on the road, Miss Abby?" Flossie asked. "I'm afraid we are not allowed to. Only humans can ride bikes on roads." I feel like a human. I go to school and eat human foods made pet friendly. Can't I be classified as a human already? I'm even riding a bike! We took a few laps around then we put our bikes away. My legs were kind of tired now after all that bike riding! Good exercise though! As we started to walk back to the cabins we saw the boys again in the center arguing, Miss Abby took charge this time. "Excuse me girls I need to sort out this issue! Go to your cabin!" She ran over to them. Bailey and Simba were there again. "BOYS!" She ran and yelled. We went back to our cabin. Had Gypsy told Bailey yet? "I'm so hungry! I need a snack!" Softie said. "I'm sure we'll get one when Miss Abby's finished out sorting the problems." Teddy said. That's exactly what happened. It was all sorted out fast and all the boys went back to their cabins. Miss Abby came back with little snack packs with carrots, cucumbers and hummus. We had a choice of carrots or cucumbers. I got the carrot one. She then let us be and went to her teacher duties. I hope Simba stops causing problems sooner.
