A Trick Backfired

"WHAT!!" I screamed, this can't be happening. Oh God please no. I looked at my mum she looked quite surprised of my reaction. Well what did she expect.

"I'm sorry Kayla it's only for a month, Matthew will be as invisible that you won't even notice that he's here"

What for a month! This just get better and better. Not!

"Mum" I whined, "Don't you understand, me and Matthew don't go well together like cats and dogs, potato and milk and er......um...snakes and horses" My mum giggled with my response, honestly she's worse than my four brothers, she's doesn't get that I'm trying to be serious.

"Sorry honey, he's due here at..." my mum looked at her watch, "20 minutes and 10 seconds" She is an accountant so that way I actually get my maths homework done.

I sighed and went to my cosy big room. I loved my room it was pink and a vast amount of purple. My favourite place was my four poster bed. I had a curvy full mirror. I was bored and went to it and I looked at myself. I wasn't that pretty, I had long brown hair which is tied up, I liked it that way. I also had my mother's light brown eyes and her visible cheek bones. My best friend Leya says I have dimples which I find so embarrassing.

I went lie on my bed and thought about tomorrow. Okay I have school tomorrow and hopefully I won't have to walk with Matthew, we are both in sixth form. I don't exactly know why he's coming just that his parents are going away abroad. I still can't believe that he's stayin-

"Ding Dong!"

Oh Matthews early. I waited for mum to open the door but the bell was still ringing. Great, I sighed and went downstairs to open the door. And there stood Matthew with a large suitcase in his hand and an another bag hanging behind his shoulder. He was grinning at me and his dimples were so visble that for a millisecond he looked quite cute which is soooo yuk.

He was wearing blue shorts which showed off his legs well he is the captain of the basketball team and the football team. His shirt was ver-

"Kayla, I know I'm ridicusly hot but if you've finnished staring at me can I please come in?" that boy was smirking at me, I blushed and looked away. Without a second thought he pushed past me to get inside and kicked his shoes off.

He's so rude, he should be so damn grateful that he has a place to stay.

I trailed behind him then out of nowhere my mum appeared in front of him.

"Awwww, Mathew look at you, such a big boy". she's right he taller than her trust me when I say my mum is tall, i'm just catching up to her.

Then my mum noticed that her only daughter also existed.

"Kayla darling, would you please show Mathew to our guest room which is opposite to your room?"

Omigod she actually had the nerve to place him right outside my room.

I sighed and motion for him to follow me. He smirked but did as he was told or showed.

"soo, your house is massive and quite impressive" mathew you said, " but not so impressive as my house, Kay."

Kay, Kay, Kay, fucking Kay. No one called me that apart from my friends.

As soon as we were by his door, I grabbed his collar with both of my hands and smashed him against the wall. Mathew reaction was in between shock and fear then he quickly covered it up.

"look Matt, you don't deserve to call me Kay only my friends can!" I shouted at him, "and I don't give a shit if your house is a freaking bungalow, you should be so damn lucky your staying here."

After that lecture I pushed him to his room and whipped around to find my twin brother Alfie staring. Did I mention angrily..........uh oh!!!!
