Chapter 5

After a long discussion with The Quail, Mckeyla finally decided she would give the girls a second chance. She did really like the Tessa girl even though she never spoke much. 

Mckeyla turned around to see all four of them facetime on her laptop looking excited. Apparently they were able to catch the bad guy from Black Star.

When Mckeyla got there, Bryden hooked the guy up to a container of breath mints, which happened to be a lie detector disguised as breath mints. The container would glow green for the truth, and red if the suspect was lying.

"Tell us what you did with the prince!" Bryden commanded."And tell us about Black Star's secret plan!" replied CamAccording to the suspect, Aaron, he was an agent of Black Star, who had been trying to warn them about his boss, Darone's secret plan. Darone planted an illegal hacking device into the Prince's luggage that his company planned to hack into during Xander's trip to space, and steal data from billions of people. Darone wanted to get his hands on a bunch of people's data so he could sell it for billions. Aaron was the person who called Space Inc. because he was trying to get the flight canceled. Prince Xander hadn't been kidnapped at all, one of the members of his staff must have been working with Darone so they could secretly plant the hacking device into his luggage, and that same person must have driven him from the safe house, to the launch. 

There was a mumbling sound that came from the tv just then as it was still turned on to the Prince's Space Flight. The tv showed Xander at the launch site waving to a group of his fans with the headline "Moments from watching Prince Xander take to the skies".

 "Cam, Call your dad" Mckeyla ordered, if they had any hope of getting the illegal hacking device off that ship before it launched, it would be now.

Unfortunately it seemed as though Camryn's dad was already in the control room and they would be unable to reach him. They were on their own to get into Space Inc. now.

"We've got to figure out how to get inside that central building. Any thoughts?" Mckeyla asked the crew of girls as they were all huddled together outside of Space Inc.

"Maybe it's time for a little...eruption? I have all the ingredients" Said Adri

"You handle the explosion, I'll handle the distraction" said Cam

Camryn led Bryden and Tessa up to the security desk while Mckeyla and Adri stayed behind to make the explosion.

"Hey there, George!" Cam said loudly to the security guard. "How's my favorite security guard ever? These are my friends Bryden and Tessa. We just wanted to pop in and wish my dad luck quickly before the big launch"

The security guard shook his head. "I'm sorry Cam, but I'm afraid the building is on full lockdown. No visitors allowed during pre-launch time"

"Awww, man. I was really hoping..." Camryn started when she was interrupted by the sound of an explosion from behind her. The three girls and the security guard turned around to see thick, pink foam covering the metal sculpture that was sitting in the center of the lobby, behind them. George rushed over to inspect the mess and Cam stealthily reached over the desk, and pressed the button behind it that unlocked the main doors, allowing the girls to slip through.

"I thought you said it was going to be a little eruption" Tessa questioned Adri as she ran past her.

"I might have overshot it a bit"

That's when they reached a dead-end with 3 marked doors. "So which one do we pick?" asked Tessa
