Scene: College Classroom

The week following the presentation at Stark Tower was a whirlwind of congratulations and newfound respect for the Dynamic Six. Peter and Morgan basked in the support from their peers, but their sense of accomplishment was cut short when their professor announced a new project.

“Alright, class, listen up!” Professor Edwards called out, clapping his hands for attention. “For this project, each of you will be paired with another student and will spend the weekend at their house. This is a chance for you to collaborate closely and get to know each other better. You’ll present your findings on Monday.”

Excited murmurs spread across the room, with students glancing at one another in curiosity.

Peter exchanged a look with Morgan. “Let’s hope we don’t get stuck with…” he whispered, but before he could finish, Professor Edwards glanced at his stack of papers, preparing to announce the partners. Just then, his phone buzzed, and he looked up, seeming momentarily distracted.

“Excuse me, class, I need to step out for a moment. I’ll be back shortly to announce your partners. Please remain seated.”

With that, Professor Edwards left the room, and the students continued to chatter. But unnoticed by most, Jason slipped out right behind the professor, his gaze locking onto Morgan, who was sitting alone in the classroom.

Scene: Locked Classroom

As Morgan flipped through her notebook, she looked up to see Jason casually stroll back into the room, a sly smile on his face. The rest of the students were still seated, chatting among themselves, and no one seemed to notice when he closed the door and locked it with a quiet click.

Morgan’s heart raced as Jason approached. She felt a chill run down her spine, realizing they were alone. Jason took a step closer, his grin widening as he hovered over her.

Meanwhile, Peter was sitting in the library when his Spidey senses blared to life. The wave of dread hit him hard, sharp and unignorable. His senses homed in on a nearby classroom, raising every alarm within him.

Without a second thought, Peter bolted down the hall, scanning the doors until he saw one that was closed—and his senses were spiking like never before. Something was wrong. Heart pounding, he braced himself, not caring who was watching, and ripped the door open with a burst of strength.

Inside, he saw Jason looming over Morgan, his expression dark. Peter’s blood boiled.

Jason’s head snapped up just as Peter lunged at him, fury igniting his every move. “Stay away from my sister!” he growled, his voice thick with rage. He tackled Jason, sending him stumbling backward.

“Whoa—hey!” Jason stammered, trying to regain his footing, but Peter’s anger was unstoppable. He didn’t care who saw, didn’t care if his secret slipped out. All that mattered was Morgan’s safety.

He delivered a punch that sent Jason reeling, the satisfaction in protecting Morgan stronger than any consequence. The classroom filled with shocked whispers, but Peter’s only concern was ensuring Jason never got near his sister again.

Peter’s fists shook as he pulled Jason up by the collar, glaring into his panicked eyes.

“If you ever come near my sister again,” Peter seethed, “you’ll regret it.”

Jason’s bravado was gone, replaced by a frightened stare. He opened his mouth to say something, but Peter shoved him back, and Jason stumbled, catching himself before darting out of the classroom, the door slamming behind him.

Peter turned to Morgan, his expression softening instantly. “Are you okay?” he asked, his voice filled with concern.

Morgan nodded, though she looked shaken. “I… I’m fine. I didn’t think he’d try something like that. Thank you, Peter.” She reached out and squeezed his arm, her gaze grateful yet worried. “You didn’t have to go that far, you know. What if someone saw?”

Peter took a shaky breath, his anger ebbing away as he realized the weight of what had just happened. “I know,” he admitted, trying to steady his voice. “But when I saw him hovering over you like that…” He shook his head, unable to finish. “I just couldn’t stand by.”

They both glanced at the door, still half-expecting someone to burst in and start asking questions. But the hallway outside was silent, and it seemed that, for now, no one had witnessed the incident.

Morgan exhaled slowly, her hands finally steadying. “I don’t know what I would have done if you hadn’t shown up, Peter. You’ve always been there for me, even when I don’t ask.” She paused, giving him a soft smile. “Thank you.”

He returned the smile, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder. “We’re a team. Always have been, always will be.”

They left the classroom together, silently promising that Jason would not get away with what he’d tried to do. And as they walked down the hall, side by side, Peter’s determination grew—he’d protect his sister at any cost, even if it meant risking everything.
