Kaliah was lounging in a cozy corner of her mother's favorite cafe, waiting for the BAU team to arrive. When they finally walked in, she stood up and approached them, offering a polite smile before introducing herself. "Hi, I'm Kaliah Everhart, a detective in the Chicago PD Intelligence Narcotics Unit. I'm 20, a Leo, and a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I’m an ex-FBI agent, and I have a background in the military. I'm highly skilled in hand-to-hand combat, tracking, and sniper marksmanship. I also have experience in profiling and undercover work."

Kaliah glanced at her mother, Emily, who had previously served with the BAU, and then added with a hint of pride, "And that’s my mom."

The members of the BAU exchanged quick glances, clearly impressed by Kaliah's extensive background and her straightforward confidence. Agent Hotchner, always composed and perceptive, stepped forward first, extending a hand with a nod of approval.

"Pleasure to meet you, Detective Everhart," Hotch said, his tone respectful. "We’ve heard a lot about your unit’s recent work on narcotics trafficking. Having someone with your unique skill set on board will be invaluable to us."

Beside him, Spencer Reid observed Kaliah intently, his mind already piecing together details she had shared. His voice was soft but genuine as he spoke up.

"Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, military experience, sniper proficiency… You must have a highly analytical approach to both combat and investigations," he noted, almost as if he were thinking out loud. "We could learn a lot from you about tracking and tactical engagement."

Emily, who had been watching the introductions with a smile, stepped forward to stand beside her daughter, her gaze warm with pride.

"I can’t think of a better person to help bridge this case," she added, giving Kaliah a supportive squeeze on her shoulder. "Kaliah’s had an instinct for this kind of work since she was young."

Rossi, ever the charming observer, let out a light chuckle as he assessed the pair with amusement. "It’s quite the family reunion we have here. Looks like we’ve got a whole new powerhouse on our team."

With introductions out of the way, the BAU team settled into their seats, each taking a moment to appreciate how the expertise Kaliah brought could shift the course of their investigation.
