Prithviraj drove his white BMW through the misty highways of the Nilgiris while Jheelam prayed to God, sitting beside him.
"Abb yeh kya nayi nautanki hain tumhari?"he asked and she replied,"kya matlab nautanki hain? Mereko apni jaan pyaari hain. You're someone who drives a car in cities. Yaha chalaney ka aadat thodei hain aapko."
"You have no idea what an excellent driver I have always been. Back in Boston, I have gone for dangerous and reckless drives too. This is nothing for me."
"I have heard that you...you were a.."
"A Mafia? Yes I was. So?"
"That justifies your behaviour well. Tabhi aisey ho aap."
"Aisey hoon matlab?"
"Aisey!"she said while pointing her hand at him and added,"kharus, akdu, cold, emotionally numb, gangster-like, aur....nahi kuch nahi. You're nice."
She passed him a nervous smile after saying the last line as he was giving her a death glare, as she didn't want him to upgrade to his rage mode again.
"Pata nahi tumhey jhelunga kaisey main?"he said while looking ahead again and she said,"kya matlab aap mujhe jhelenge? Main aapko jhel rahi hoon, okay? Voh toh main itni smart hoon, itni brave hoon aur itni acchi hoon ki I am coping up with you."
"Haan haan, resignation letter toh tumhari padosi ne diya tha,"he mocked her and she frowned while Prithviraj took a turn towards the right.
After driving through a lane with tea plantations on both the sides of the road, they finally reached the villa of the Dhanrajgirs, surrounded by their tea plantations.
"Wowww!"Jheelam said while stepping out of the car and ran ahead, followed by him, who just took his usual compose steps behind her, while the caretakers walked up to them with flowers.
"Welcome Chhotey Saheb. Mem Saheb,"they said while giving them the flowers and Jheelam accepted those while saying,"mujhe Jheel bula liya karo. Yeh saheb waheb ka chakkar inka hain."
