"ROBIN, RUN!" and so she did.

She ran even though inside her heart was breaking hearing her parents fighting with that horde, her mind was aware of the reality of what the world was going through, even so she couldn't help but feel that pain in her chest, it would make her parents staying to fight with the infected not be in vain.

She heard growls and gunshots, and sometimes saw biters coming towards her. Using the techniques she knew, she killed those close by with a knife and left the far away wanderers alone. Her best weapon was running like a roadrunner.

She still remembered when it all started, she was so small and so innocent that that day she couldn't stop crying watching those beasts bite and kill those people. That day Robin was paralyzed by fear, but her mind was thinking about Carl, Carl Grimes. Her best friend, the one who was always there for her and who... is probably dead.

She had never forgotten him, she had never forgotten her past because when she had the chance to sleep peacefully, the memories were there giving her love and tranquility in all that mess of a world. Those memories were the anchor that gave her peace.

This is bullshit... Robin sighed tiredly as she reached a tree, her hands rested on the trunk and held on so she could climb up to the branch that she saw was thick and high from the infected. She let out involuntary moans as her hands scraped themselves, it was of little use to her when she reached the branch far from the biters that were nearby. She rested her head on the trunk regulating her breathing with the grunts heard below, she closed her eyes for a few moments thinking about the happy moments of her life pushing away the fear she felt, if she wanted to live she had to channel her terror better.

He turned to a fond memory that was in his pocket, pulling it out he found the photo with Carl Grimes, managing a slight smile.

Robin tried not to be eaten by walkers and avoided thinking about food. And another blue-eyed boy rested in his bed, not yet getting used to having a normal life. For Carl, thinking about a normal life was strange.

He sighed thinking that now his mother would be tidying up the house, she had cut his hair and scolded him for being a mess in his room. Things like that brought him a small happiness making him laugh lightly. He sat on the bed brushing his hair back, he had to start tidying up some things so that this time his father would avoid saying something to him.

He got out of bed, took his old clothes, folded them and left them in the closet. The process ended when he found a white t-shirt with a dog paw in the center. It was the t-shirt he still had since he was a child. He was about to fold it until he noticed a certain black stain. He made a curious face and approached to see what that stain was.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHERIFF, I LOVE YOU EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE STUPID! Sincerely, Alien"

Robin... That was what his mind said and he laughed at the memory of that birthday. His mother always wanted to give him the best birthdays and his father was in charge of giving him the birthday gift.
