Over the last 3 months, me and Maya have gotten impossibly closer to each other. She has practically moved in with me and Olivia. Not officially, but she sleeps over every night. Olivia was over the moon by this, she loved to have her Mimi around at all times.
Olivia has actually turned 4 years old, and she wants to be more and more independent. Which gives me a harder and harder time to watch every second of the day. She's getting big though, like she sleeps in her own bed every night, and she hasn't done that for so long.
Life is really lovely and happy at the moment. Everything just feels right.
Me and Maya were laying in bed, she was fast asleep looking cuter than ever. I on the other hand was wide awake, and just laying on bed looking around. I was early in the morning, but we didn't have practice today. However, we had promised Olivia to go shopping and then the park to play. As it was still complete silence in the house, I took the opportunity to do some sudoko, which I haven't been able to do in so long. I sat there in my own world for a good 15 minutes before I felt some movement beside me. I looked down and saw Maya's sparkly eyes looking up at me.
"Good morning may." I said smiling down at her.
"Good morning my sudoko queen." She sid jokingly before rolling over on her back stretching her body.
"I like that nick name." I said while closing my book settling to down on the bedside table.
"I thought you liked babe better." She said.
"I do, I love that nickname. Babe." I said letting the babe come out as a whisper before I laid down bedside her, locking eyes with her.
"mmm, your too sweet, I can't." Maya said putting her arms around my neck pulling herself into my body leaving a kiss on my Cheek.
"We better stay like this while we can, because I can guarantee that Olivia will come running in about 10 minutes tops." I said chuckling into her hair.
"Mhm, yeah. We promised her shopping and the park today didn't we?" She mumbled into my neck.
"We did, she was super exited when I put her to bed last night." I said putting my hand into her hair, brushing it through.
"It's raining out though, and last time I checked the park gets muddy when it rains." She said lightly pushing herself out of my grip.
"Oh baby, that won't stop Olivia. She loves the park, dosen't matter what the weather is like." I said chuckling.
"I'll try my best to make her chance her mind at the store, I hate the rain." She said smirking at me. She leaned in and placed a long sweet kiss on my lips. As we pulled back, the door opened and Olivia came running in.
"Mommy! Mommy!" She said as she ran up to the bed and climbed up.
"Hi baby." I said.
"Hi mimi." She said smiling at Maya as she crawled into my arms.
"Hi cutie." Maya said.
"we're going to the park today." Olivia said happily clapping her hands.
"Have you looked outside Olivia?" Maya asked lokking up at Olivia in my lap.
"No." She answered.
"Go take a look out the window then." She said.
"Okay." Olivia said. She slid off my lap and ran over to the window, pulling the curtains to the side.
