I knew something was wrong the second I walked by the beach on my way back to Camp Half-Blood. The ocean was raging, and even trying to control it with my powers didn’t work. Yet, I continued on my way back to camp. I heard a growl from behind me and turned around, twisting my wrist twice. On that wrist was a simple charm bracelet, and on that bracelet was a music note charm. The charm began straightening and lengthening, transforming into my staff, which appeared in my hand.

In front of me was a little brown and white spotted puppy. As I walked over to pet it, I heard another growl come from a bush behind the puppy. An even bigger dog emerged, and that was when I realized it was a hellhound. I also noticed a limp body on the hellhound's back. I grabbed my walking stick with both hands and twisted it, breaking it into two twin bronze daggers. I charged at the hellhound and attempted to control the ocean but remembered it wouldn’t respond to me. Frustrated, I shook my head and lunged at the hellhound. As I tried to stab it, the knives just bounced off. So, I dashed in, grabbed the body, and moved it to a tree before returning to fight.

I was looking for a weakness in the hellhound’s armor when it finally landed a hit on me. I collapsed in pain, realizing it had broken my arm and a few of my ribs. It stalked over to me, trying to finish me off, when a black portal opened in front of me. A man in a black suit stepped out and snapped his fingers. The hellhound yelped and dissolved into dust. Then the man looked at me as I was about to die and snapped again, and everything went black.
