Ambrose Hawthorne craved freedom more than anything in the world. Ever since he was a child, he was thrown around foster homes like he was some dog they were excited to get at first, but then people get bored of them. He was tossed aside many times, thrown into the back of the social workers car, doors slammed in his face so many times he stopped counting after reaching the double digits.
Ambrose grew restless, he craved an escaped from that life of just getting tossed around. The orphanage was just another place he could never call home. The other children avoided him like a plauge, like he was a nervous dog, and if they got to close to him, he will bite them.
Ambrose hated how everyone was scared of him. It didn't help he was always covered in cuts and bruises, but that wasn't his fault. He never means to get angry, he just does.
As he grew older, the craving of freedom grew restless. That restless turned into getting tossed against cop cars, and thrown into cells that wouldn't hold him for long and tossed out another orphanage, leaving him in the pouring rain waiting for the social worker to show up.
Only this time, Ambrose didn't wait. He didn't want another place where everyone would be afraid of him. He wanted a place where he could call home. If he stayed, he would just keep repeating the same thing over and over again. So, he ran.
He ran and he never looked back. Not even when the dead started to roam the world.

Killian Smith was made out of pure violence and hatred. Ever since he was a child, all he ever known was violence. All he ever known was violently surging one fist after another. His knuckles were always bruised and bloody, his heart was always full of hate. The only time he was ever just soft was when he was with his mother, but even then, sometimes the anger just slipped away from him sometimes.
When the world ended, and his mother passed. His father used his anger, turning him into a machine, a blood thirsty killer who just craved more and more, never satisfied.
He was a killer. Most called him a sociopath. He didn't know how to stop, he didn't know when to stop craving the violence, the hate that came with it. Not until someone showed him that he was just more than violence and hate.
Someone showed him he was worth more.
