Rory's POV
I had insisted to walk in alone
I loved my family but they embarked me sometimes
I walk up to a lady with a sign next to her that says check in
"Hi" I say to her
She looks up at me and a small frown appears on her face
"Name" she asks
"Oh uh Lorelei June" I say with a friendly smile
The lady types on her computer and then stops
"We have no Laura Prune on this list" she says looking up at me
"No Lorelei June" I repeat
The lady roles her eyes at me and types on her computer again
"Your early" she says "you have 35 Minutes till your auditions"
I nod and sit down next to a girl with brown hair
"Who are you?" The girl says like she's disgusted by me
"Oh I'm Lorelei June, but you can call me Rory" I say
"Are you famous?"
"Well not yet" I say with a slight smile.
She looks me up and down
"I'm Gabrielle Dylan, famous super model and child star" she says "my friends call me gabby"
"Hey gabby so-" I try to say but she interrupts me
"I Said my friends call me gabby, your not my friend" she says
"If this is how you treat them then I'm surprised you have any " I mutter
She doesn't hear me but continues talking
"I plan on getting the role of Laila, my daddy knows the producers" Gabby says
Why am I not surprised
"Have you done acting before" I ask
"No but I good at everything" she says
A guy walks out with a clipboard. In his hand
"Next is Gabrielle Dylan" the guy says
"Well I gotta go" Gabby says "I would say it was nice to meet you but it's not good to lie"
And with that she leaves
"She a lot " says someone behind me
I turn around to see a blond girl
She looks super familiar
"Hi, I'm McKenna, McKenna grace" the blond girl says sitting down next to me
McKenna grace as in the child star
I want to scream and ask for a photo but I know I should probably stay calm
"Your going out for the role of Laila,right" she asks me
"Yeah, are you?" I ask staying as calm as I can
"No, I, just auditioning in general" McKenna says
"Are you nervous?" I ask her
She laughs and I kinda feel stupid for asking
She probably has done this a million times
She wouldn't be nervous
"No, not really" she says with a smile "but I'd imagine you are"
I nod my head
"Don't worry I'm sure you will do great" McKenna says " you look like you'd be perfect for the role "
The guy from earlier comes out with the clipboard and holds the door open as Gabby walks out confidently
"Hey you think if we poor water on her she might melt" McKenna whispers in my ear
"I would love to test that theory out " I say
McKenna gives me a small smirk
"Lorelei June" says the clipboard guy " you can come right in"
"Break a leg" McKenna tells me before I walk through the
