Chapter 1- School Drama

I wake up to the sun on my face, and groan as I stand up. I knew I'd have to sneak out of my opened window since my parents hate me. So I guess I should tell you something about myself. My name is Allison RoseMary I'm 17 years old, I'm 5'8. I have brown/hazel eyes, and red, long hair that goes to my waist. I like to think I'm not fat but I'm not skinny (if that make since). I love music it's my life, favourite color is blue, I cut, and I have parents that abuse me because they say I'm a mistake. Oh and I also don't have anymore friends or "friend" I told her everything that happened to me, and she told the whole school, thanks for that (note the sarcasm). Well anyway like I was saying I took a shower these morning and put on a maroon beanie, black skinny jeans, a tank top that says "*CAUTION* I'm allergic to fake people." I put my black hoddie on to cover my scars and went to hell, oh I mean school. When I got there my "friend" came up to me "hey did you cut again this morning," she said and laughed with her posy. I just kept on walking like nothing happened. Once I got to my locker there were a lot of nasty comments on it. Like "Ew your still here go kill yourself" or "Your so ugly why don't you just do the world a favour and bleed to death no one cares." There were some pretty hateful comments, but I didn't let it bother me. The rest of the day went pretty dang slow. Finally the last bell rung and I bolted out the door. Thank God I made it out of there alive those guys are animals. When I got home my dad was home oh no. I quietly made my way to my room but that just wasn't the case. Right when I was so close to my door my dad threw a beer bottle at my back. I had tears steaming down my cheeks, and all I thought was I need to get out of here NOW! I ran into my room and got my emergency bag that has water bottles, flashlights, money, my phone, lighters, and some clothes and music. I grabbed my stuff and I ran out of the house as fast as I could. I ran all night long until I was so tried I needed to rest. I saw a house not to far away with a bench on the porch I decided I could rest on that for a few minutes.

*Mary's POV* (haha little switch)

I was drinking my tea and reading a book I found in Katie's room. I remember reading this to her a lot when she was sad, "Mr. Brown Can Moo Can You." I was thinking about her when I heard footsteps outside so I grabbed a baseball bat and peeked through the front small windows. I saw a girl laying on my bench on the porch, so I opened the door and saw she was sleeping. I thought she can't just stay out here alone, and its about to rain I'll just bring her inside. I picked up the girl and later her on the bed in Katie 's room. I just let her sleep and since it's like 6:30 in the morning I'll make her breakfast.

*Ally's POV*

I woke up to smelling bacon, but I was confused because I remember sleeping on a bench not something this comfortable. Well I guess if I open my eyes that will make a difference so I open my eyes and see that I'm in a room a little girls room. So you know what I do I scream yep scream then this lady comes in the room and asks if I'm okay and if I'm hurt. "Who are you? Where am I? Where's my bag?" I asked did she kidnap me? "Don't worry honey I saw you sleeping on my bench and it was going to rain so I couldn't just leave you out there." she said oh maybe she's nice. "Oh I'm so for that I kind of ran away from home and I don't want to go back, but I can go somewhere else now thank you for letting me sleep here." I said well I don't want to steal this lady's home. "Oh no you are very welcome to stay here as long as you like it's just me that lives here but I do have a son that is a little older than you!" she says with a smile on her face. Well I don't have no where to go or sleep in a ditch I pick here! "okay but I don't what to intrude." "Oh no your not intruding it would actually be nice to have someone else around the house!" she said like this was the best day ever (yes I did just quote spongebob haha) "okay I'll stay, oh yeah my name's Allison but you can call me Ally!" I say well I guess she can be the loving mother I never had. "Oh you can call me Mary or mom if you want to!" she says with a smile."You'll be like the loving mother I never had!" I said with a smile I can't wait for this.
