Rimuru's POV

I was in my own room, along with Ciel and Lilith. Shinsha had gone out to check up on her subordinates.

"I already called them all for a meeting. Though most of them are free, Shion, Gabiru and Geld will take some time since they are not in the city and caught up in some work. Also, Testarossa is still caught up in that meeting, so I decided to hold the meeting tonight at twelve." I told Ciel to which she nodded. Lilith only bowed, and did not show any signs of emotions.

"Dear, I will be in my room for some time. Once everyone had assembled, you can call me." Ciel said as she stood up. I just nodded and did not say anything. The look on her face was enough to answer any questions I had. It had been a long time since I had seen that determination in her eyes. Maybe it was at that time when she had put everything on the line to kill me.

"Looks like Lady Ciel had finally made a decision." Lilith said as she looked at Ciel who had already left the room.
"Yeah. It's been a long time since I have seen her so determined. Looks like she is definitely going to end up unraveling the secrets of her powers." I said with a slight chuckle before turning to Lilith.

"Now then. Why don't you tell me who, or rather, what you truly are? You have a soul, a complete one at that, yet it radiates no energy, neither magicules nor Chaos Energy. Yet, your body is filled to the brim with it. It's as if your soul is kept completely separate from your body." Hearing my question, Lilith was surprised for a second before regaining her composure.

3rd Person POV

"As expected of you, milord. I am Lilith, the only soul chimera in existence." Lilith introduced herself as she bowed. Lilith's words brought lots of questions to Rimuru, questions that Lilith herself would answer.

"Just like Chimeras, whose bodies are made of different species and monsters, patched together, my souls is a creation, made after intense analysis of different souls and combining them to create a new soul. My soul is the only soul in existence to not be a remnant of one of the Ancient Gods or First Era Gods, but an artificially created one."

"... That seems quite the revolutionary work." Rimuru said as he was busy pondering about the information he had just received. Souls were something that had always been a questionable object. Everyone knows it exists, everyone takes it for granted, yet nobody knows how it was created.

Unlike magicules, that were present since the beginning of time, souls were not. Souls were, in a matter of fact, just bundles of different magicules, that gained an ego over time. These souls then materialized their own body if they wished, and were called First Era Gods, or the Progenitor Gods by the Ancient Gods. A suitable name, since all souls were born from them.

Once they died, their soul would shatter. These shattered pieces of souls would come together, mix with each other, in different ratios, giving birth to new beings, with unique traits. That was, in a gist, what people called soul, A mixture of different types of magicules that had gained their own ego.

"I know milord, after all, it was you and Lady Ciel who created me." Hearing this caused Rimuru's eyes to go wide. He considered himself a lot of things, a ruler, a military general, a good father, a good husband, heck, he even considered himself a hypocrite and a coward, but one thing he never considered himself to be was a God. Not the type of God he had become by pursuing strength, but the God that he had read about in his previous world. The one who would create life out of nothing. To him, life was something that came naturally and could not be created artificially. So, the fact Lilith was a creation that had been built from the ground up by him and Ciel was not something he could wrap his head around.

"There's no way we would have..." Rimuru said, unable to accept the fact.  Meanwhile, Lilith completely oblivious to Rimuru's inner dilemma, believed that he was speaking about something else.

"That's right. Even with your combined strength, it was not possible to do this without any side effects. Because of me... Because of me, you and lady Ciel had to sacrifice a portion of your powers to stabilize me." Lilith said while biting her lips, trying hard to hold back the surge of emotions flowing inside her mind. Rimuru caught on to this and teleported in front of her and patted her head.

"Shhh.... If what you said was true, then you are no different from our daughter. It's obvious we would go this far for you." Rimuru said, trying to console her. This was the last straw that broke the emotional barricade of Lilith. Lilith, though never openly bullied or looked down up, knew it deep within. Everyone looked at her with judging eyes. Everyone opted to stay away from her, to isolate her. But, even more that others, the guilt that she felt in herself was too much for her to bear. But, Rimuru's word might not be the exact words she wanted to hear, but they did their job.

Meanwhile, Rimuru, who was consoling her was caught off-guard, seeing that she started crying out. But, seeing that her heart was slowing opening up, and she was crying out her worries, Rimuru could only look at her as a small child as he continued to pat her back to calm her down.

Few hours later...
At midnight

After spending a lot of time crying, like finally took control over her body, and the embarrassment of her actions caused her to hide herself in the corner of a room, but she soon regained her composure as Rimuru told her it was time for the meeting.

Once Lilith had calmed down, Rimuru took her with him into the meeting hall. Chloe, along with a few of the guardians were all there. Kumara, Zegion, Adalmann, Diablo, Carerra, Ultima and Geld were already there. Once Rimuru entered, they all bowed, to which Rimuru told them to sit down. Ranga, who was in Rimuru's shadow also jumped out, taking his position near the wall, behind Rimuru.

"The others will take some time. Let's wait for them." Rimuru said, and everyone nodded. The next ones to enter were Benimaru and Shion, who had just teleported from the City of Ogres. After them, Testarossa arrived as she had finally taken care of the meeting. The next one to arrive was, surprisingly, Veldora and Treyni. Considering that they played an important part in the country, even if they only slept, lazed around and read mangas(especially Veldora), they were also called. The last one to enter was Gabiru, who had some job around the City of Lizardmen, and was only able to get free now.

Just as Gabiru reached his seat, Ciel teleported herself to the room, and took the seat besides Rimuru.

"Now that everyone's here, let's begin. Lilith, please tell them what you told us." Rimuru said and Lilith nodded as she began reiterating what she had told Rimuru and Ciel, while everyone listened with surprise.
