Roman was doing better as Katie got up feeling a bit better and still worried about him. Katie looked at him with a smile as he grabbed her hand surprising her as she looked at him he looked at her smiling a little back.
Katie said " you scared the hell out me"
Jon and Cody get up and look at him with a look.
Roman said " I'll probably be out for a couple of weeks but thanks to you i'm alive and want to thank you"
Katie said " I can't lose someone else after Aaron and your welcome"
Katie smiled at him and relaxed knowing he would be ok after all this. After about 6 weeks of recovery he was being discharged to work again. Katie was running late and show up kind of breathing hard as Cody looked at her with a look.
Cody said " you ok"
Katie said " yea i'm ok why"
Cody said " you are half hour late for your shift and you're breathing heavily "
Katie said " I'm fine ok
Cody left as she put her hand on her belly feeling kind nauseous again. Katie breathed through it as Amber looked at her with a look.
Amber said " you ok Katie"
Katie said " yea I should have skipped the donut this morning"
Amber said " If you need time "
Katie said " no I'm fine I promise"
Katie went down the hall to her first patient to see a young girl smiling. Katie finished up and felt pain in her belly and leaned on the wall for a moment and walked on working. Katie went to the cafeteria and grabbed a sandwich and sat down as Roman, Jon and Cody walked over sitting with her looking at her.
Katie said " how you feeling Roman" smiling
Roman said " a little sore but ok thanks you"
Jon said " no heavy lifting for another 3 weeks"
Roman said " I know"
Cody said " you ok Katie you look a little sick"
Katie said " I'm fine thanks"
As they were just leaving Katie felt nauseous a little as Jon, Roman and Cody looked at her with a look. Katie breathed and walked on as they noticed she looked stressed. A few steps the pain hit Katie enough to stop her in tracks and she bent over trying to breathe through it again. They looked at her with concern as she fell over as Cody caught her from hitting the floor.
Roman said " you ok Katie"
Katie said " I must of tripped" lying
