Chester led Farrah down the hill, away from the town at the foot of the Fennek Ring panting. He held her tightly by her wrist and did not notice until they reached the bottom and were hopefully out of danger.
"I- I think we got away." He offered between breaths. Chester looked back at her and noticed her staring down at her own outstretched arm with his hand around her wrist tightly. He let go quickly after he noticed.
"Hie! I'm sorry! It's just just that... It was really hectic back there and we needed to get out quick." Farrah let her arm fall to her side, looking up to stare at him flatly, with the unenthusiastic stare that she tended to give him whenever he spoke or did anything. The monotonous demeanour was broken up by a slight huff. She turned away from him and stared up the hill towards the town. A few explosions were going off one after the other. Flashes of blue light.Chester gulped, staring at Farrah's rear intently. The woman was a beautiful example of a human, with bronze skin, straight black hair and sharp facial features but truly, as guilty as Chester was to notice it and admire ir over anything else, her ass was just so round and perky, even the her beasts were a little lacking and her waist was not as thin as it could be. She had a very nice body taken as a whole, he just really liked her ass. Not that he would ever admit it.
The mage was from Foi'Dhinn, a land that bordered the Diamond Mountain Range. Aside from Aniyufar and Tinta-Mara, all of the little land that bordered the Diamond mountain ranges tended to have some pretty esoteric Traits. He knew because he had studied them as he was studying her. Unfortunately, the information openly available about the Foi'Dhinn was scarce and Farrah was not one to talk openly about anything. All he could gather from records were that Foi'Dhinn women tended to be fairly guarded and standoffish, while the men were boisterous and forward. Chester guessed that it was something that he needed to woo her, but he was not capable.
Chester was a short, twiddly and pale man with curly orange hair, freckles that doubled in the sun and glasses so thick that they could pass for telescopes. He never had any luck putting on muscle and he even tried and failed to become fat. Unfortunately his odd body rejected any bulk he ever tried to put on, like the world was insisting on seeing the faint outline of his ribs through his skin permanently. Chester was from Cheshire and not very proud of it. On top of all his features, he was made fun of as a bumpkin.
Farrah finally turned back around as the explosions died down. "What now?"
"Why are you asking me?" He blinked.
She looked left, then right, then centred her gaze on Chester. "You're the only 'man' I see." She took a short breath before asking flatly.
"You are a man, are you not?""For the last time, yes!" He uttered in exasperation. She showed a bit of a reaction as he yelled at her. She lost interest and began walking past him as he added.
"I'm sure women where you're from are capable of making their own decisions..."
She stopped and spoke over her shoulder. "I suppose all the books you read about me told you nothing.""Too poetic." He admitted, pale cheeks blushing deeply.
"In a science book there shouldn't be a place to talk about a 'key' to a woman's heart.""I see." She rolled her eyes and kept walking.
Chester caught up, stumbling a bit to keep her pace. "Uhm. I guess you found out about my research."
"You would do better studying Aura more wholeheartedly, Chester." She advised.
"Can't you just tell me more?" He finally just came out and asked her for the first time.
"No." She said flatly.
"Why?"
"Because you're asking." She remarked calmly.
His shoulders slumped. "I get it... I'm scrawny and useless. Of course ME asking isn't going to matter to you. I just wish-"
