Setting: Marvin's proposal.
As the holidays approached, Marvin started planning the perfect way to propose to Emory. He wanted it to be memorable, filled with love and everything they cherished.
On Christmas Eve, they decided to take a walk through a local holiday festival. The air was filled with laughter, twinkling lights, and the scent of cinnamon.
"Look at those lights! It's so magical!" Emory exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with joy.
Marvin grinned, feeling a rush of affection as he watched her. "I have a surprise for you," he said, taking her hand.
He led her to a quieter area of the festival, where a giant Christmas tree stood adorned with shimmering ornaments. Underneath, a beautiful blanket was laid out, adorned with fairy lights.
"Sit here," he instructed gently.
As they settled down, Marvin took a deep breath, his heart pounding. "Emory, from the moment we met, you've brought so much joy into my life. I can't imagine my future without you by my side."
Emory looked at him, her eyes widening with surprise and delight.
"I want to build a life with you, filled with love, laughter, and adventure. So, Emory Smith," he said, pulling out a small velvet box, "will you marry me?"
Tears filled Emory's eyes as she gasped. "Yes! Yes, of course, I will!"
As he slipped the ring onto her finger, Marvin pulled her into a warm embrace, and they both knew they had just begun a new chapter of their lives together.
