The remaining

Chapter one
I am lili. My family do not want me. I live in care and no one wants to adopt me. I am sick of following everyones rules all the time! I want to go back to the old times when I was free and when no one knew I existed. I only got caught when Jacob lied to me... That traitor! I hate people. That's one fact about me. I would just love to run the world because I could have a section of people called "the remaining". Oh how nice it would be to destroy the enemies who hate me (basically everyone) and be a ruler.

Chapter two
"Ok then Lilii" I gulped and stepped forward "You done it again" he said and faced me, his evil eyes meeting my own. I looked away and stared at my shuffling feet. He continued. "Anyway.. " He coughed "I wanted to say that you have a possible family and you have won them over!" I beamed and danced around. "I'll go and pack"

Chapter three
"Bye!" I said, waving. I have finally left that dump! My new family were quiet and they drove sensible... a little too sensibly. It was actually quite annoying to be honest. They took me to McDonalds and I had a feast of burger, chips and a flurry, then we went to my new home - Lili flower cottage. That's strange. I pulled out a photo and sure enough, there was a house and a sign which said Lili flower cottage.

Chapter four
We entered the house and Sarah, my new mum, showed me to my room. I said I was Ok to unpack on my own, and after that, I explored. I explored for clues, left behind photos. Nothing. Did my real family live here? Is Sarah and Paul my real mom and dad?!
