The winds gushed through my hair repeatedly .

He had finally resided before me, his expression always seemed so lost and frantic. Like there was something he kept going back and forth between in his head. I looked at his furrowed eyebrows when his eyes sat on me as they usually did.

He walked closer to me, while the whole time I expected to get to him first.

The crowds that were hurdling before, now felt frozen. The only one I saw was him walking towards me to grab my hand. He held my hand towards him and pulled me in.

"Don't call my name out like that" he commanded me. He looked angry, making his grip so suffocating like he wasn't planning to let go of me.

The world stopped at that moment. I was afraid of the feeling inside me that would burst us into flames. Flames that would hurt us if not kill us. I promised myself to never expect anything from a man. I looked down as he pulled me in, I couldn't stand looking him in the eye. I was prepared for him to yell at me for not following after him. Instead I tried to get out of his grasp but he still looked so shocked in lock against my body.

He was making that face again, like he was in disdain or disgusted at me like everything he did relating to me was an accident. He shot the silence by saying "this time follow me and stay close." he walked with my hand still in his. This felt like a dream, I saw him as this annoying guy who never had fun... to THIS.... whatever this is.   

We strolled forward, a bit before the rush ended I let go of his hand. There was no need for any of this to happen, I can read his face. So its best to stay on mutual terms. Further in I noticed my phone buzzing constantly. What was this all about?? Nami was blowing my phone up.

AFTER CLASS.

I lifted my head up from my phone and noticed how we already walked off campus. We got into Law's car and drove over to his house. I was nervous the whole time fidgeting with my headphones volume button.He drove in silence throughout the way. Although I would catch him glimpsing over at me every couple minutes. I pondered if he lived with family and if I was going to be introduced to them. And if I was, what was he gonna say about me? The thought lingered the whole way . We finally got up to his driveway. I stayed in my seat for a bit until I saw Law take the first leave and got out of the car. I was still as nervous watching him get to his door. I got out and caught up after him. He looked back at me by the front door.

"I don't know if he's home.. Just be quiet"

I nodded at Laws' command trying my best to make a respectful impression to god knows who. "Try not to make noise. I don't want him to wake up." Law was eager to get his cat bepo from the house so he can leave as soon as possible without any awkward interaction.

I saw bepo come out from a room as soon as we got inside. I watched as law bent down and grabbed bepo. "Did you miss me, my boy?" he whispered out to his pure white cat. " Can I hold him?" I questioned until a glass breaking made both me , Law , and bepo FLINCH to the sound. Law frantically handed bepo over to me. "Wait outside and dont come in. Just go." he commanded me and so I obeyed. Me and bepo waited outside eavesdropping on what was going on inside.

"Cora, I told you to be careful. Your clumsiness is always making a dangerous mess" he yelled. The tense conversation startled me so I backed up away from the door. As soon as I tried moving back, law blew open the door. Catching me and bepo awkwardly by the door.

'What're you doing??" he said, ending his sentence by gritting his teeth. I replied apologizing by saying I lost my footing. He looked away irritated with an unbelievable expression over his attitude. 

We both agreed to walk to the main city park and back. "I haven't seen the park yet." I said, ending the painful silence that roamed on us. "I walk out here often when I can't work out for practice." I turned my head at him. He was talking about practice?? I already had a hint to what he meant but I tried to act clueless so he could tell me more. "Practice for what" I added on. "I've played for the soccer teams here, I might try out this year, who knows. "

"I never knew you'd be the athletic type"

"You would be surprised, not the best but definitely not the worst." he said.

"I think you should try out then, you seem fit for the sport."

"Oh yea? How often would you support the games with your eyes only on me?"

I choked up after his cheeky response, feeling my face warm up. I looked to the other side hoping I didn't look ridiculous just now at his stupidity. I stood there while I felt a cold drop of water hit my face, "Law... Did you check the forecast???....." we stared at each other in pure silence until the drops of water became rainfall. No wonder we hadn't seen a human being in sight of the park.

We sprinted out of the park as law held onto livid bepo tightly for being wet. I laughed over how miserably our plan failed. We both lived so freely in the moment. The music that played in my airpods earlier that I dimmed out to listen to his voice was now so loud. Each note felt like a peddle of laughter and love. I caught up after law and took a sneak peak at his face. His laughter was so bright right now. His smile was like the sun behind the clouds that poured down water had just come out. His body moved like the blue sky that carried the sun up high. The music that was once a blessing to hear turned into silence. 

Thunder shook loudly. The world is so gray now. His face shocked me to the mis-footing of my placement. I felt a push of wind sock me further away from him and nearly slipped. Until his hand called out to me, the worry on his face to help me back up scared me. Like if I let on now I couldn't back away. I backed his hand away from me. Getting up slowly he reached out to brush the strand of wet curls away from my face. Sending me shivers. He realized what he had just done and pulled his cold hands back. "I won't look back if you fall, just hurry up." he coldly stated before he ran out to find shade. I joined him and told him to wait as I rang up Nami urgently and told her we needed a ride because of the sudden rain.

We didn't wait that long until Nami and Zoro showed up to our rescue. We both looked the other way out of the window in a sour mood. Why did I agree to this with him? What was I thinking? The silent ride turned into an awkward one once Rayleigh called me.

"Hello rayray i'm almost home, don't worry," I said on the phone to reassure Rayleigh that I was coming home. After a few my head fell onto the other side from the window. I was so exhausted, I wanted to go home to Rayleigh and Shakky so badly.

"We are here" Nami gently whispered as she tapped me awake. I got out and exchanged my final thanks to Nami and Zoro, but Nami had plans to pull me aside before I went in.

"what's with you and law tell me right now missy."

"I have no clue what your saying" I fought back

"I'm not believing a word, he knew the directions to your house."

"What?" I looked at Law where he dried off bepo as Zoro had bepos wet towels on him. I glanced at Law hoping he'd look up, but instead he didn't. Shakky cam out and fussed about how wet we all were and invited us all inside for a few before Nami and the rest left, they hesitantly accepted Shakkys gratitude.
