The Life of a Spirit

Prologue

Welcome to a story that starts at the very beginning of life. We start in the spirit world in dimension one. Dimension one has nothing but grass on the ground and a bright white sky; this is where souls are born. To this day I still don't know what happened before that, how do you become a soul, we just are what we are. Any spirit to stand there has no form; they aren't male or female. They are just a figure of a person a white shadow that blends in with the sky.

While there was silence, and nothing seemed to be disturbing the peace. another soul is born. The soul looks over in the corner and sees more souls like themselves, but everyone was gathered around something so the new soul runs over to the corner and sees a bright blue portal. There is another being there that didn't look like everyone else. This being sees the soul looking confused. The being standing tall and powerful says my name is father time. This is a portal to the realm where time exists, right here where spirits are born. This portal will send you to earth to live a mortal life so you can discover yourselves.

Immediately all the souls start to jump into the portal to go to earth. Our newest soul looks down with slight concern, father time looks at the new soul and says don't worry its everyone's fate to go to earth and live and breathe and find yourself, so the soul jumps into the portal and falls. the falling continues after a while it starts to feel like it's never going to stop and all of a sudden, all the blue and other souls in the distance start to disappear the area around them just changes it goes dark the spirit autoreacts and starts to breath then opening their eyes sees two people and they both start saying words like welcome to the world little one. Look at our bundle of joy. Confused, the soul starts looking around more and sees a wall made of hide from an animal, but the soul couldn't tell what animal. This is where life starts your first time on earth; this is what defines all spirits on their journey to the afterlife.

First life: Chapter 1

Well now that you know how life begins let's get into one spirit's life. when they were about 17 years old.

In my time we did not really use words, we used the primitive version of sign language. We lived in villages with each other when we learned about making syllables and sounds. We used the first sound they made to give everyone a name.

We praised mother earth, the goddess of life. Our life was dedicated to making sure the trees, the plants and the wildlife enjoyed life like we do. I was known for being a loner. No one really bothered me. I enjoyed walking in the woods.

This day was like every other day I was walking in the woods. I saw my normal sitting tree so I sat down, but when I sat down on the branch that was high up I slipped and fell down. I fell into the tree by the hole in the bottom of it. I was stuck, and this really bright green glow came by. The glow stopped once my vision adjusted. I saw mother earth. I knew it was her. no one has ever seen the goddess before.

she says "oh you poor mortal let me help you" she then pulls me out of the tree. she looks in shock then she says "you are special, very special" then she takes me to the spirit world I was in the middle dimension where all realms come together.

Mother Earth takes me to her realm and says you died when you fell out of the tree, but your spirit is still alive. The simple fact Death didn't show up to retrieve your soul and take you to your afterlife shows your special. The Deaths never slack on their job and the universe lets you die. Maybe you should be here but why she said I had special power so she used her power to open me up I Felt power coursing through my vines Feels nice like it supposed to be there I had no idea what I Could do with this power Mother Earth said "I'll take you to Aphrodite the goddess of love she should know what you're here for."
