I always have a fondness for drawing scenes from my stories. And now that I've started writing Fanfiction you can expect many more illustrations like these. Maybe—if I like them enough—I'll even include them in the related chapter.
The first drawing is a scene of chapter thirteen of A Potions Mishap that I'm currently working on. I'm in a bit of an authors block, so I've decided to draw to get those creative juices flowing again.

It's a bit monochrome, but I'm still quite happy with it. For the fanged geranium I worked with a reference and it took me a few anatomy tutorials to get the characters right (as usual).
I struggled a bit with the shadow and light placement and the expressions, but well ... that's nothing out of the ordinary for me.
The second piece ended up being in a similar colour scheme. Seems like I have a thing for this earthy green this week ...
