On the way back to the hotel from Christiansborg Palace, James and Mina were talking in Dutch, a sign that usually stated that they were fighting or they didn't want their children or anyone to hear something.
"Well, Mina we both liked the Danish Royal Academy right? So why don't we send Seri here? I mean Queen Margrethe is here, and Frederik and Mary are here, and I have known them since I was in nappies. And Frederik is her godfather, why don't you trust him?" James said in Dutch.
"James, I love Frederik and Mary to death, but you can't expect me to ditch my daughter here in a foreign country, whose language she doesn't even speak. Also, Seri is 5! You can't expect me to live without my daughter." replied, Mina.
"Well, why don't we move here? I mean it is the next good option right?" asked James.
"I don't want to uproot my family and friends by moving us to Denmark, James. And to be frank, I have never liked Danish weather or food."
"Mina, we both know that the Danish Royal Academy is probably the best school we will visit. And don't we want the best education for our children?" James said.
"Then what about schooling for Daniel? Are we going to pay for him to attend a different school or are we going to make him do an entrance test like the ones they do in China?" asked Mina.
James was not sure. He did not know what to do anymore. Until an idea struck him.
"Why don't we go to Sweden to visit the Swedish International School? It is supposed to be a great school and similar to the Danish Royal Academy. And honestly, Swedish weather and food to me is better compared to Danish weather and food. " replied James.
Mina was reluctant, but she decided to go to Sweden after their Danish vacation.
After 2 days of travel from Aarhus and Aalborg, the family traveled to Malmo, Sweden from Copenhagen by train. The Swedish International School is all over Sweden but they thought since Malmo is far down south, the temperature would be better meaning it wouldn't be as cold.
